stayed 2 nights as had wedding reception in park next to here, the rooms are separate to the main building so are not noisy like most pubs , rooms are very clean and well furnished we ate evening meal chef and staff very good breakfast full cooked was good only negative is was never asked if required another drink or...

We were going to a birthday party and here food was excellent. We Stayed overnight, room very nice and breakfast was excellent . We would certainly stay here again if we are in The area again . Staff very helpful

Recently attended a friends wedding and was recommended this place. Stayed here for one night and found the room small but clean and functional . Had a very nice breakfast and which the owner cooked. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely use this gem again

Friendly, local pub with all the trimmings! Good selection of drinks (especially ales) and snacks with friendly staff. The food really stands out - we eat there regularly and it is always varied, freshly made and great quality. We often customise our meals too which is no trouble. My first visit to the prince consort Despite driving past for over 27 years to get to old Bentley. Met with friends for drinks and with us being a large group of 15 the management moved tables around and created a nice little area at the back of the pub. Made to feel welcome in a local pub !! We were booked to stay here the night of 26th August and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a nice little room at the back of the pub. The window had been left wide open before we arrived, due, we thought, because of the hot weather. We dropped off our belongings, shut the window, and went out....

This was going to be a three but the breakfast bumped it up to a four. Pros. Clean. Decent tea and coffee facilities. Shower gel etc Lots of towels Really scrummy breakfast Good o2 4g signal Lots of power points for charging TV but we didnt use it. Less than half the price of anywhere else locally. Cons. This is the third time I have been here and it never fails on the absolutely amazing food and great customer service. The staff are always welcoming and eager to please. I would go back time and time again.

The room we had was a bijou double with ensuite. Shower only, but powerful enough to wash and rinse my long hair. despite the rooms being at the rear of the pub and next to the outdoor area, we were not disturbed by any noise. Great Pub with great staff.Always have a drink here when passing and always have a club sandwich when i am a bit peckish ! The pub is dog friendly inside and out and well worth a stop.Seating outside the back and front makes for a lazy afternoon in the sun.
