I booked a stay for myself, my sister and 5 bridesmaids in July for the night before my wedding, and as a base for us to get ready at the morning of. I could not have been happier with our experience! From the outset Nicky and Alan were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us; they offered us multiple room variations, a dinner for the night before and even extra's such as florist recommendations! The house itself and the grounds are STUNNING! The rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bathrooms in particular were very luxurious. Nicky made us a 3-course meal for the night of our stay which was delicious! In the morning we had an amazing continental breakfast; the home made juices were incredible! Some of our other guests stayed the 2nd night and they also raved about the cooked breakfast. The price was very reasonable for what was a such a high quality stay. The house was perfect for getting ready for the wedding! The breakfast room had such beautiful light, leading into the lovely gardens, and the photos of that morning are particularly great! Nicky and Alan were so friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and I greatly appreciated their calm and uplifting presence on what could have been a slightly stressful morning! (Even if Alan was a bit bemused by all the hair and makeup!!). Their dog was also a joy to have around (even if he snuck in without permission ;) )They went above and beyond to do what they could to make us comfortable, and we are all so grateful! I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful B&B if you are visiting the area - I want to return even though I only live round the corner!! Thank you so much Nicky and Alan!

We stayed in the orchard shepherd's hut. Beautifully appointed, cosy, comfortable and private. Our hosts were friendly and super-accommodating and the whole site seems really well-run. A real find and would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone visiting the area.

Stayed late June in the double bedroom in the house. Spacious, comfortable quiet and airy with an excellent en suite bathroom. Took the dog which was no problem. Excellent breakfast ready at exactly the right time.

I was fortunate enough to stay at Chadwell Hill farm for a night last week whilst in the area. I was warmly welcomed and taken to my lovely, comfortable room. Gorgeous fresh flowers and a welcome pack including slippers and a candle welcomes me and lots of information about local restaurants and places to visit. I was only in the area for one night, but my breakfast was served in the garden room where the views over the pretty rose garden were gorgeous. In the distance I spied the new addition to the farm- a gorgeous Shepherds Hut which Alan told me had just opened for this season. Alan was chef this morning and his cooked breakfast was fab as was his banter. There were other guests at breakfast as well as me and he took time with all of us - such a great host. Thanks guys, I really enjoyed my night with you and highly recommend.

A cosy stay that felt far enough way from London. We were very well looked after and enjoyed everything Chadwell farm had to offer. The mattress was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Our host Alan was particularly friendly and accommodating - and we could see stars in the sky!!

We stayed for 3 nights and it was honestly the best experience! Having not camped since I was a child, bringing my family for a more comfortable version was great! Nicky and Alan were incredible hosts! They couldn’t do enough for us, nothing felt like it was too much trouble which was great because I ended up forgetting some essentials. I think the price was very reasonable for not only the bell tent, but use of the eco friendly loo and showers. With all the worry surrounding COVID I was nervous to share the facilities initially however the toilets and showers were cleaned 3xs a day (I think some days they did it more) and there was hand sanitiser and anti bac wipes available everywhere so that put me totally at ease! We can’t wait to return!!

Nothing was too much trouble and I felt very Covid safe. Delicious breakfast with home produce, beautifully cooked. I was even able to buy a bottle of wine, so that I could sit in the garden with a glass and my book on my arrival after a long drive. Comfortable bed and a stunning bath! Thank you for a restful stay and for answering all my questions.

We stayed at Chadwell Hill Farm for three nights and couldn’t fault it. Before we arrived, Nicky emailed us offering local suggestions and asking what meals we would like. She was able to suggest local restaurants and walking routes. When we arrived, Alan made us feel at home straight away. It’s a very difficult time for business owners at the moment and it was clear they had gone to great efforts to follow government guidelines and make sure that guests feel as safe as possible. Our room was a deluxe king room - the view was lovely, the bathroom was massive and the room was spotless. The bed was comfortable and tea, coffee and toiletries were provided. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had - all local produce and Alan remembered our likes and dislikes the following day, even remembering which sauces to put out. We would definitely stay here again - we would recommend the deluxe king room, but would also like to try the Shepherd’s Hut or their new glamping.

My partner and I stayed here this weekend and it was a lovely weekend away! Amazing hosts, yummy breakfast, beautiful room with a great big bath and outside garden area to sit in with a cup of tea or a glass of vino. Great for a relaxing weekend from London or a week long stay if you want to truly relax. Good access to Coomb Hill and nearby restaurants. Went to the Olive Restaurant for Indian, good recommendation. Thanks very much Alan and Nicky! Jason and Dani
