You can enjoy good old Japanese stay. The architecture, which includes seven cultural heritage, is more than fifty years old beside a river and a suspension bridge. Dinner and breakfast are good mainly with fishes and vegetables. Staff is kind and friendly.

Mr Murakami welcome you warmly, proud to explain to you the history of his classified patrimony ryokan serving you a hot drink with plum sirup (traditional drink from Izu). It's just a paradise with an impeccable traditional service. Lot of japenese refined meals. Pleasure to wear your confortable kimono, to go to... More

My wife and I booked this hotel for a one night stay in Izu Peninsula. This hotel was classified as a national heritage in a very quiet location. After check-in, we were offered a tour around to show the history of the hotel and the buildings/rooms that classified as heritage. The wooden structure was very traditional and full of zen... More

It took me and my company some time to find the place, but a very nice man from a neighboring village gave us a ride when we jumped off the bus at the wrong stop. The staff at Ochiairou Murakami was just as welcoming and friendly as the man and we were all sad we didn't stay for one more... More
