Having experienced many different forms of Lodges and bush camps throughout Southern Africa we can honestly put Limpopo - Lipadi up there with the best. The Lodge is situated right on the banks of the Limpopo river which was in full flow. To lie in bed and listen to the river is something very special and unique. The rooms are...

We were blown away with this resort. We have experienced some wonderful game viewing with a most accomplished guide (and we have travelled game lodges galore from the Okavango to the Serengetti). There is something just special about this place. As I sit on my patio and write the symphony of bird calls is something that cannot easily be replicated....

My friends and I spontaneously decided to do a game drive in Limpopo-Lipadi. We had a warm and friendly reception, despite the fact that we did not book in advance. They managed to book us for an evening drive on the same day. The drive was out of the world, the guide knew what he was doing, he narrated well,...

This was our first Safari holiday and it was truly amazing. The accommodation was spacious clean and comfortable, the staff so friendly and the guide we had was very knowledgeable. We traveled with two children and the guide bonded well with them engaging them and keeping them entertained with stories during the quiet moments without animals. We also had a...

Oh my word, what a fantastic stay! We stayed here for 5 nights during New Year's week on full-catering. For a few days we were the only guests on the reserve. The accommodations were fabulous, we stayed in Unit #5 (a 2 bedroom unit), with a view of the Limpopo River directly upon waking in the morning. What was also...

Fantastic experience off the main tourist track. Stayed in chalet and exceeded all expectations. Conservation game reserve for african wild dogs and white rhino. Was lucky to see both due to expert guide Tips. All staff gave great service and very friendly. Animals are viewed in natural habitats and may be difficult to spot so be patient but definitely one...

Been in loads of lodges and camps allover Southern Africa over the years and must say that this experience was definitely not worth the huge money it costs. Cant knock the accommodation if thats the type you like. The staff was very friendly but seemed to have been left completely without guidance and supervision. The food was totally unacceptable quality...

The lodge has come a long way since 2013, when we were not really set-up to accept guests. Fresh management staff have implemented a raft of new policies to accommodate visitors, trained the staff up, improved the menu out of this world, and our more recent reviews can attest to the improved quality of the experience.

What an amazing place to stay. This was my first experience on a safari so I have nothing to compare it with, I was a little apprehensive on pre conceived ideas but very pleasantly surprised. The accommodation is clean and tidy, much more luxurious than I was expecting, the housekeeper kept it tidy every day, we overlooked the water but...

Limpopo Lipadi is the most relaxing place I have ever been. I felt a little bit unsafe as it is an open space that Hippos could come in anytime but it's normal isn't it? The tour guide were really helpful ,kind and took us everywhere.

Have been on several other safaris in several other different countries. Limpop-Lipadi offers a truly relaxing environment in a beautiful and well maintained reserve. Personal privacy is well maintained with all cottages well away from each other. The cottages are very well appointed for both self-catering or one can opt for a chef to cater for you. Shopping can be...

“We were in unit #5, a 2 bedroom unit, which was a short walk to the central unit (where meals are served unless you opt to have them at your own unit) but far enough for privacys. Beautiful views of the Limpopo River. Would definitely choose this unit for another stay.”
