On first impressions, this place looks amazing, well kept, and with a large communal area around the bar/restaurant. However, we had quite a cold reception when we checked in; were given no information regarding meal times, wifi, etc, although the guy that showed us to our room was nice enough. The dorm was a 6 bed, and to be honest... More

The location of this resort is stunning. Surrounded by a lush tropical rainforest with a horizon of ocean framed by palm trees, the place screams quintessential island experience. However, the lack of touristic facilities and hospitality catering to backpackers in general on the islands of Fiji is conducive to sub-par service and over charging. This is demonstrated by the requisite... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights in our way from Suva to Nadi. Lovely setting on the beach. We loved the outdoor shower in our villa which had really great water pressure and lots of hot water. Very nice after a day of swimming or hiking. My boyfriend did the bush walk with Juita who was very... More

Stayed here for 1 night only, wish we could have stayed much longer. Price is unbeatable for a resort style place. It was so peaceful the night we were there although it was a Monday night and the people said weekends get to more of a party atmosphere of you are in to that. Dinner was delicious, we loved the... Throughout my 2 months in Fiji, I lost count of the number of times my friends and I stayed at Beachouse. The best place in Fiji, as the Yasawas are very much overrated and full of tourists, so Beachouse to me felt like it's only little island. You can easily get a Suva bus from Nadi town which takes about... More

After spending 9 weeks volunteering in Fiji I can honestly say that The Beachouse has been the highlight of my time here! It's an affordable slice of paradise along the magnificent coral coast. I returned here for 5 of my 9 weekends as it appeared that island trips and other mainland resorts simply did not compare. Every weekend consisted of... More

No greetings nor procedure explanations were given. One of the bed had no bed sheet and when we came to ask for it we were told that the reception was closed. The female washroom was dirty. The "meal plan" (39FJ$) is mandatory. Food is good but you have to be patient to wait in the long queue. Not enough seats... More

We find it difficult to believe that this worn down, 2nd rate facility would satisfy anyone with hopes of anything beyond minimal comfort. Our room started with NO towels! Dinghy, musty and toilet plumbing that "whistled" off and on all night, only the wasp in our room seemed content. No one really gave us an opening greeting, explained procedures, nor made... More

We had an amazing time at the Fiji Beach house. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Such a friendly, relaxing chilled out vibe with lots of character and charm. The beach out the front is absolutely stunning and the free kayaks are fantastic- we used them every day. (A sunset kayak is a must) We arrived at... More
