Stayed at the B and B over the weekend, found the staff very friendly and extremely helpful, even arranging a table for us at a local restaurant. The family room was very clean and well presented, more than adequate for our needs. Choice of food at breakfast was great, cereals, pancakes, toast, fruit etc, and or a fried breakfast, a proper fry up to set you up for the day. Overall a very pleasant stay, I would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived to the time of our departure we had a wonderful experience here. Our welcome was warm and friendly and we were soon settled in to our very well appointed room. It wasn’t until the next morning that we were able to appreciate the glorious view from the generous windows. It has to be seen to be believed. Naturally we slept very well and awoke refreshed and eager for breakfast. We we most definitely not disappointed. delicious food served in such a calm and relaxing environment with again a stunning view to compliment our refreshments is the aim of many an establishment but here we felt this was spectacularly overachieved. On top of this when the owners spare time to chat as well it makes for a very special experience. We were even encouraged to take time with the Clydesdale horses which is a special moment to remember. In case you are in any doubt we thought this was a fantastic B and B and would heartily recommend it to anyone whether wanting a rural retreat or a base to visit nearby Edinburgh whilst being able to enjoy the countryside as well. Thank you so much for having us this week.

Everything from the generously proportioned and well appointed room to the fabulous breakfasts make this a gem of a B&B in a picturesque location. Such friendly hosts too. Even the Scottish weather contributed to make this a wonderful Autumn Break.

Just returned from a tour of Scotland where we stayed in 10 B&Bs. I would give this second place. The room was big and lots of room, it had a beautiful bathroom , the staff were excellent and the breakfast superb. The views are excellent and they recommended a brilliant pub nearby. Highly recommended!
