We found Romantic Italian Weddings through Google and through only a few clicks, we had fallen in love with the venue. It seemed almost too good to be true and so we started digging through trying to find the catch but came up with nothing. We found Marco and Alexandra fantastic to communicate with and we managed to organise a short trip to go out and see the venue which made us all the more excited to put our deposit down. Once we had settled on the venue we were given access to the 8 Step Wedding Planning tool that really simplifies the process of getting everything organised from a different country. The other tool we found really useful was the wedding budget calculator which helps to give you a better idea of what the wedding you want will cost or allows you to pick and choose options to better suit your budget. After looking at numerous places in the UK, we were surprised at the value and quality being offered, and realised we really could have our dream wedding. With the week approaching we felt so relaxed thanks to the fantastic communication from Marco and once we had arrived he introduced us to Ina who manages Villa Baroncino. Throughout the week, they both touched base with us as often as was required and ensured that not only us but all of our guests (with a full villa) had everything we needed. They really went above and beyond all our, and our guests, expectations. Prior to the day, Marco assembled all of the key roles for the big day and orchestrated an extremely thorough rehearsal within the town hall in Cortona which helped remove any nerves I had. The day itself was everything we had hoped for and far more. Marco keeps timings with a military precision and absolutely nothing is left to chance which is so reassuring as it leaves you to focus on remembering the sheer joy of the day. The reception area was beautifully decorated in spite of the minimal input we gave (this is on us as we are not good with this sort of thing), but they just seemed to understand exactly the look we were going for. For food we opted for Renata, and to this day we still have guests talk to us about how amazing the truffle pasta was! Renata provides a rustic, Italian menu, just the thing we wanted and you could really tell it was cooked from the heart. Milo Sabariz did hair for the day, and my wife couldn't recommend him enough. He was so engaging and really look the time to understand what would work for persons hair and fitting it to the wishes of each of them. Il Giardino did our flowers and they were absolutely beautiful, plus so friendly! We didn't opt for loads, but what they did provide was very generous and in keeping with the style we wanted. We had Paolo Bibi as our photographer and we were blown away by the result. Our day wasn't stilted by posing for loads of photos, and thankfully I didn't have to stand there for ages have photos taken. Our couples shoot was lovely and relaxed and we managed to explore Cortona a little more finding gorgeous backdrops. We had a few organised group shots, then plenty of natural photos which is what we wanted. We booked Hubay Ensemble to play in the Town Hall and whilst we had canapés around the pool. We chose a number of pieces to be played and the variety of their repertoire is amazing! Everything from classical to Metallica! It was really special to walk down the aisle to such beautiful live music, and the guests really enjoyed 'naming the piece' as they relaxed by the pool. In the evening we had DJ Alessandro. He visited us the day before to talk about what sort of music we wanted, we told him the styles we liked rather then giving him a list and he was great! I don't think the dance floor was ever empty! In all our experience with Romantic Italian Weddings was faultless. We can't recommend Marco and everyone more highly. Lorna & Rich (April 2018)

We stayed here for a week for our friends wedding with our 3 children and had a great time. The staff were very helpful and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The only criticism I would have is the temperature of the water in the pool but it was October.....

Where to start..! Bianca and I got engaged in Dec 2018 and just over 8 months later we were married! We say this because had we opted for a UK venue it is unlikely we would have managed this feat in such a short time. This is one of the first and major compliments we have for Marco, Cristina and the team, their level of organisation is simply fantastic. You only need to view the signature Romantic Italian Weddings “8 steps” once to fully appreciate this! The wedding organisation process is seamless and actually quite fun, the options are vast, whether it be from the table decorations, food options or entertainment offerings. Marco and the team have a wide selection of trusted suppliers to choose from, who know the venue intimately (they do this week in, week out!) which makes them reliable, attentive to the finer details and importantly taking away the stress of it all. On top of this we found them to be extremely reasonable in terms of price which is of course a concern with many venues, we did not at any point feel captive from a price perspective which was refreshing (compared to stories we had heard from other married couples in locations back home!). No review could be made without mentioning the venue itself, Villa Baroncino is, in a word: Stunning! Nestled in a historic spot on the edge of Umbria, bordering Tuscany in what could be considered a tourist-free pocket of Italy makes for a rare and authentic wedding location! The villa has beautiful and varying grounds, a vast selection of attractive flowers and foliage, diverse sections of vine yards, olive tree lined pathways and elegant sculptures, it really is a wonderland that will have you and your guests captivated, not to mention the magazine-like photo spots you’ll be able to capture and treasure long after the magical day has passed. We particularly enjoyed the pool area, this is a refreshing escape from the Italian summer heat and has a practical and stylish layout, there are an abundance of shaded areas and sun loungers to choose from, it really makes for a great setting and was enjoyed by all. Keep in mind the BBQ area too, this is an awesome way to enjoy those long summer evenings after relaxing by the pool. Of course, there is the villa itself, the apartments are all very beautiful, we found that our guests enjoyed the traditional decorations and style alongside the recent renovations, it is a major advantage having so many rooms at the villa, it only adds to the relaxed atmosphere where guests are able to get ready on site. That said, should you have more than 50 guests, there are number of great hotels within a 10 minute drive of the villa, we opted for the Capricci Di Merion and can wholeheartedly recommend, they match the opulence of Villa Baroncino to make sure all guests whether staying at the villa or not felt welcomed (and importantly “equal”!). Naturally, Marco and the team are on hand to support with the organisation of taxis so another stressful item ticked off the list! If you have made it this far, you must be serious and on the verge of booking, like many reviews before us, we simply say do it! There are too many people and suppliers on Marco’s team we could compliment when it comes to writing this review (but we don’t think the trip advisor character limit would allow us to submit!). For those of you not sure and need some extra advice then feel free to message directly! We have been there, your wedding is a big deal and even more so when planning abroad. What we can ultimately say is that you can trust Marco and his team, he’s professional, sympathetic, trustworthy and treats your day as if it were his own. His objective is to make your day special, romantic and will stop at nothing until you are satisfied (and believe me, we have witnessed this on many occasions!). Overall, we are extremely grateful to him and the team for the effort they made and we regularly look back with fondness at every step in the journey! So really, do not hesitate! Start your 8 steps form engagement to marriage with Romantic Italian Weddings and look forward to that magical moment exchanging your vows at the incredible Villa Baroncino Grazie mille Marco, Cristina and the whole team!!! We've been meaning to write this review for so long! We had our incredible wedding day/week at Villa Baroncino in July and we would not hesitate to recommend the place to anyone thinking of booking their wedding here. After much research online in early, I kept coming back to Villa Baroncino and decided to contact Marco. After a few emails back and forth we initially thought we would get married there in summer 2021, so we booked to visit the villa in June 2018 whilst we were in Italy...However we soon decided we just couldn't wait that long a ended up booking our wedding for July 2020 before we had even flown out to see it! We can honestly say we had absolutely no reservations about doing this and when the day came to visit the Villa, we were amazed. The photos just do not do it justice and it is even more amazing in real life! October 2018 our planning started using RIWs online step by step planner. This breaks each element of the wedding day down into sections and is so simple and easy to use. Marco and his team were always on hand if we had any other questions or queries. It really takes a lot off the stress out of the planning and you can enjoy it instead. Before we knew it we were flying out to Italy with our family and friends. We flew out on June 29th and our wedding day was on 4th July 2019. Every single day at the villa before and after the wedding was brilliant, spending time with all our family and friends. The rooms, grounds and pools are all beautiful and it was lovely to have it all exclusively to us and our guests. We had BBQs or ordered food in from Ciao Ciao in the evenings - which was always so tasty! The week was also spent with us meeting our vendors and going through all the details of the big day with Marco and Cristina. There was no stone left unturned, they cover absolutely everything with such detail and we honestly had no worries whatsoever, we could just enjoy the run up to the big day - something I think is impossible for most UK weddings. The day itself, words will never be able to describe how incredible it was. Friends and family told us before hand - something always goes wrong on wedding days, but just go with it no one will notice - not for us, everything was absolutely flawless and was better than we could ever have imagined. Marco and Cristina are on hand from morning till evening ensuring everything is perfect. We wouldn't have changed one little thing, except to be able to do it all again! We used the following vendors:- Transport - Antonella Renzoni Antonella and her team took care of our transport to/from the villa and airport as there was quite a few of us on the first flight over so we booked a small coach, which was easy to arrange and on time. Hair/Make Up - Monia An amazingly talented lady! I was nervous about having my hair/make up done incase this would be much different to UK hair/make up, but I shouldn't have worried! We sent a few messages back and forth in the run up to the wedding with my ideas and I had a trial the day before in the wedding suite and loved her creations. The morning of the wedding Monia and her team did hair and make up for my bridal party and some of our guests before starting mine. She is so calm makes you feel beautiful. My hair and make up lasted all day, which was a feat as it was extremely hot on our wedding day during the European heat wave! Flowers - Cristina Cristina creates exactly what you want and her flowers are beautiful. I sent her a few photographs of ideas and she created exactly the image I had in my head and more. The first time I saw the centre pieces etc. were on the day itself and these were beautiful. I really wanted peonies in my bouquet and even though these were out of season in July Cristina was able to get them for me. Photographer/Videographer - Valentina & BouncingBall The "dream team"!! Mark and Dom are incredibly talented and their work is amazing. We are still obsessed with our photos and videos. We are still now trying to get our favourites down to go in our album as there's just too many favourites to pick! They work brilliantly together and know exactly the right places/times to get those magical shots. We would not hesitate to recommend booking these two together and if you are unsure about whether to get a videographer as well, we would definitely recommend booking Dom! Catering - Renata We opted for the canapés after the ceremony and a 3 course meal. The food went beyond all our expectations, all our guests were commenting how nice the food was. The wedding cake was the nicest cake we have ever had, definitely chose the Italian wedding cake! Renata also did a breakfast for us on the morning of our arrival for our guests, as well as a BBQ at the villa the day after the wedding, both again were great. We also had the "pizza party" the night of the wedding, where Ciao Ciao delivers and sets up Pizzas around midnight in the marquee, which went down a treat! Music - DJ Alex/String Trio Walking down the aisle to the song we chose performed by the string trio was magical. They also played after the ceremony until guests sat down for the wedding breakfast. For the evening DJ Alex told us to trust him when it came to the music, and he was brilliant! Played great songs that had guests of all ages up dancing all night. The wine/beer offer was great as well, we allowed our guests to drink what they wanted during the week and still had plenty of wine left at the end of our stay! We also opted for a free bar on the wedding day as a thank you to all our guests which was enjoyed by all! Our guests also made use of the fresh pastries, breads and pizza that you can have delivered to the villa each morning, all very tasty and good value! Finally, Marco and Cristina! Their attention to detail is second to none and you really do not have to worry about a thing during the planning, throughout your stay or on the wedding day itself. They genuinely care about you and your wedding and it shows. They are always on hand and do absolutely anything and everything they can to make your day the best ever. The only down side is it has to come to an end, leaving the villa and having everything come to an end was hard! But this just shows how amazing the week was and we can never thank them enough for everything they did to create that for us. So in summary, if you are thinking of booking Villa Baroncino for your wedding, go for it...You will not regret it! Mr & Mrs Hughes xx

Wow where to begin!!, its been 3 weeks since we have returned from Italy and I have been trying to articulate the words to describe what was definitely the most magical day of our lives. I have to say words alone cannot describe how magical our wedding day was and how stunning Villa Baroncino is, nestling amongst beautiful well-kept gardens with breath-taking views, the apartments being furnished with Antiques making it such a romantic destination not only to have held our wedding but also for our 50 guests to relax and have fun, and fun we had!! My first internet search bought us to Romantic Italian Weddings and although I fell in love with it, reading all the reviews and looking at the pictures online, I thought I should be sensible and continue with searching, BUT to me nothing else compared and we knew this was where we were going to get married. I rang and spoke to Marco and booked the wedding there and then, without at this stage having even seen it in real life. Although I felt re assured by all the 5* reviews, I was so excited I just had to go and visit and please believe me if you do not get a chance to visit before your wedding you will definitely not be disappointed as it is even better in real life than in the pictures. We loved it so much we were lucky enough to visit twice before our wedding. The planning of the wedding is made so simple with the 8 step online tool, giving confidence that you are not going to forget anything, but if you do need any assistance whatsoever then Marco and his team are always on hand to offer support and answer any questions you may have. Upon arrival at the Villa we met with Marco and Cristina, who were with us every step of the way, not only leading up to the wedding but also for the remaining days after. Marco set up a Watts App Group so we had cover for any eventuality, be it for ordering in Pizza or arranging free lifts down to the lake to eat at CIAO CIAO . A meeting was arranged for us to discuss, in detail, the process of our legal wedding service in Cortona and to arrange the wedding rehearsal at Villa Baroncino. On both of these occasions Marco was so precise, providing us a service with perfection. I can only say that both Marco and Cristina are not only very professional but so friendly and added extra fun and happiness to our day. They made us feel so special and relaxed, genuinely putting our happiness first. THE WEDDING DAY….. I can only describe this as my Fairytale…The whole day was totally relaxed, mainly down to the meticulous planning and organisational skills of those involved, from Marco, Cristina and other members of RIW, Monia who I chose for hair and make-up, she really made me look and feel like a princess!, Cristina for the floral arrangements, I was totally blown away with the finished look and how she turned my vision into reality, Fabio the photographer, who has captured many amazing happy memories and Luciano for the catering, the food was absolutely perfect. DJ Alex who got everyone up dancing for hours. The care and attention each and every one gave was so inspiring that I cannot ever thank them all enough. I need to mention the WINE OFFER!!! Wow what a generous offer it was. We initially received, as an engagement present 60 bottle’ s made up of white, red and prosecco and the offer of 8 bottles of wine per guest staying at Villa Baroncino and a total of 200 beers upon arrival at the villa. We all like to drink and unwind and were determined to get through all the bottles of wine and beer during our weeks stay. Not only did we use the wine for the wedding but also the wine and beer for the BBQ we held as a thank you to our 50 Guests, along with most nights spent round the pool sharing a meal and lots of wine! On the 2nd to last night we were determined we were going to finish the stock and decided to have a Sangria evening and yet we were still left with a number of bottles to be shipped back home. To anyone reading my review, please be assured, if you choose to have your wedding organised with Romantic Italian Weddings you will not be disappointed, you will be in safe hands, set in a beautiful location with stunning views, drinking lots of wine produced by the Baroncino estate, left feeling totally relaxed and very happy. Our guests are still telling us that this is the best wedding they have ever been to and will cherish the memories forever. For my new husband and I! We cannot thank anyone enough for making not only our wedding day but our weeks stay, so special and unforgettable. It truly was the making of our dreams coming true. Cheryl and Russ July 2019
