We visited for 3 days in September. Check in was at the pub bar, and we were quickly seen to and given our key to our cottage. The outside of the cottages look lovely and there is a bench to sit on outside the door (however this is in a little private car park) but it's ok to have a...

Asked for a clean glass and was given one just as filthy. Asked for 2 starters to come out with the kids meals. They brought one kids...

we opted for the 2 meals for £8 I had ham eggs and chips good portion and tasty and my partner had liver and onions with real mash no complaint with that either, and the bread and butter pudding for £3.50 was a delight.

We visited this place for the breakfast on offer. This was one of the few places that were open a bit earlier than others and offered a little more variety for vegetarians than others we checked out. Great for no vegetarians of course. Their meal was very decently priced and tasted great! The beans were not very overpowering and everything...

Food is blinking delicious. Cooked to your taste at a fab price. Only downside is the ladies toilets, thick dirt on skirting boards and black damp on walls and cobwebs otherwise I'd have given 5*. Staff are really friendly. Kids like it here as there is a small play area n football area outside.
