Always look forward to a visit to this cottage and seeing Katrina again. Had a different room ( upstairs at the front ) which was bigger than the last room we stayed in ( both as comfy ). The bathroom was I have to say a lot bigger as it has a bath/shower,with the usual shower/shampoo goodies. Breakfast good as usual, the porridge lovely. Second morning I tried Katrina's cheese and bacon toastie and it was quite filling. Everywhere spotless and tidy. To say the cottage is almost across the road from the local pub and on a street front you hear very little of anything. In fact you would'nt know you were facing onto a street. Parking outside though there is parking available to the rear of the cottage should you need it. If you don't fancy a walk or using the car a bus service is within a five min walk. Katrina is a lovely lady who will help you with any questions abou the area if you have never been before. There is a room downstairs which is ideal for anyone who has mobility problems.

A warm welcome from a very friendly and helpful hostess. The room was compact but very well designed to provide a comfortable space with en suite separate toilet and good powerful shower in a generous size enclosure.

Breakfast was plentiful and excellent - freshly prepared to order and one of the tastiest cooked breakfasts I've had in a long time. The lady who waited on our table also deserves a mention (she says!) She was also very cheerful and friendly and made our stay complete. Sorry - I didn't get your name.

It's reasonably priced and a very handy spot for visiting the North Landing and the famous Bempton Cliffs Nature reserve. I recommend it.

Just back after 3 nights at the Crab Top Cottage, great stay, highly recommend. Katrina was lovely, nothing too much trouble. Room was lovely and clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was brilliant, piping hot. We got fresh fruit on the table to eat if desired. Melon balls one morning, strawberries the other 2 mornings. Crab Pot Cottage had its own car park which is always a bonus.
Will definitely be visiting again soon.
Thank you Katrina

if you’re looking for a B&B in the Flamborough area, this is a fantastic choice. Great location, quiet, lovely clean rooms and a great breakfast. The host was very flexible with our check in times, and allowed us to leave our bags for a further walk in the area after checking out. Highly recommend this property!

We stayed overnight in this lovely B and B, we were well looked after and had all that we needed. Very welcoming and a comfortable room with a good shower. Breakfast was good - juice, fruit, yogurt, cereal, ‘full English’, toast and coffee or tea.

Staying here is like staying with old friends. Katrina doing all possible to be covid safe. Bed comfy as always and everywhere clean and tidy. Breakfast request no trouble, I love my porridge. Plenty cereal s to choose from and yoghurts. Cooked breakfast done to order including black pudding. Lots of places to walk to in all directions and if you need help with anything just ask Katrina. Parking for 3 cars round the back, easy to get in and out if you reverse in, I know I have done it. Free on street parking and even though you may not get in front of the B&B you would'nt have far to walk. The Rose and Crown nearby is closed and there is the Seabirds and Dog&Duck. The latter gets very busy which can prove too much with the seating plans and the covid situation. The Viking further down the road is a good bet and they have everything in place for your safety. Lovely quiet village with a great B&B host, could'nt ask for more.

I have stayed many times at Crab Pot cottage. Every time I am warmly welcomed back by Katrina. I know I will find a high standard of comfort and cleanliness in my en-suite bedroom and a super breakfast. For walkers and birdwatchers this is an ideal place to stay, with the cliffs of Flamborough and Bempton easily accessed. I will be returning very soon.

Our first time staying in Flamborough and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. Katrina is the perfect host who has a warm friendly COVID safe cottage. The breakfast was cooked to order and even did us a something that wasn’t on the menu. We will definitely be back.
