We stayed here last night. The room was very nice, the price very affordable and the breakfast was delicious. Convenient and comfortable, we will definitely use Holly Trees again when visiting family in the area. Very close to the M6 but far enough away to be rural.

We stayed in Holly Trees overnight but would have been happy to stay longer. Super friendly people, comfy clean rooms, and a yummy breakfast. Holly Trees is situated on a quiet road but close to the local town. Would recommend a stay here.

Henry was a Great host nothing was to much trouble !!! Good place just for the night. If this House were fixed up it could be a Great Hotel. But everything is very old and Worn out. However Henry was so nice so that made all the difference. Would not stay again just because the place needs to be re-decorated...

We stayed just for one night and had an excellent experience. The room was very comfortable and not too noisy even though it was facing the main road. Breakfast was high quality and the hosts were very helpful. After checking out they allowed us to use the lounge and TV as we had an hour or so to pass before...

We visited this hotel because we wanted to visit Kidsgrove where we first lived when we got married. The hotel is really nice - huge rooms and very traditional. We really liked it. I would ask for a back room where you can view their back garden) It's very special as all the rabbits come out to feed - it's...

Old but decent hotel. Sure it could do with some refurbishment, but it is clean and overall it is all ok. Breakfast quality could be a bit better, the orange juice had a weird taste, for example. The town itself is quite ok for a short visit (this was a stopover driving from Scotland), within walking distance from the hotel.

My partner and I spent a Saturday night here while visiting relatives. The owner was welcoming and attentive and the decor very homely and full of character. The bar, lounge and restaurant were extremely quaint and inviting. Breakfast was included and was properly served, as oppose to a buffet, with generous portions. The room was clean and spacious with a...
