It is a clean, well managed hotel with good service and hospitality. Breakfast was good, healthy, and well prepared. It's location is very good. For the price, it is a bargain. They do speak English so that is a major plus.

Our stay wasnt great at Hotel LA'L, firstly the owner/ Manager wasnt very pleasant, we stated we had a booking and he just stared at me for a while and the eventually in English said "do you". It was very uncomfortable. We booked a twin room with a private bathroom only to find out the private bathroom wasnt very private... More

Booked into this hotel expecting a good service after a week on the Pamir highway, the owner can out after a few minutes and didn't say or change his facial expression. He wasn't in a mode top talk to or ask for help. It was late in the evening and we didn't want to go anywhere else to look for... More

Stayed 1 night at USD $25 (including breakfast) in a twin bed room with shared bathroom. Nice enough and bed was comfortable. Outdoor sitting area. Cafe was closed due to Eid. Booked primarily for a hot shower (it was) and for the WIFI (which cost an extra 15 som and didn't work at all but owner refunded the next morning).... More

Nice garden, cafe was reasonable, a proper bathroom, WiFi mostly worked but the hardest beds since starting this trip in Almatyy. And that includes sleeping on floors and on the ground in yurts. It's close to the middle of Khorog which is not a large place, and convenient for the Indian restaurant which is surprisingly good.

This is a nice and very central inn, BUT ...... the owner Abdulo is not a pleasant person. We had reservations which we had checked by phone as we were driving towards Khorog and when we got there he put up the price of the rooms and bluntly told us one of the rooms had been rented to other people... We stayed at the Lal Inn as a splurge for one night after finishing a Pamir Highway trip because we wanted a clean room with a proper shower and comfortable bed. We asked for a budget ensuite double room. The manager told us that these rooms cost $50 but were fully booked. Instead, we stayed in a twin with shared... More

I stayed in the hotel one night only. Actually I stayed in the shared room with four beds, which was not cheap at all. Fortunately I was alone in the room. They let me park my motorcycle in the backyard which is guarded by dog, but I couldn't believe they charge for the wifi. And the connection was awful. Most... More

I stayed there one night for the (fee) wifi, which works well (although not inside the rooms). It is very central and well managed, but homestays are better value ( no wifi). Also the Hotel Bomi Jahon on the main street is correct and way cheaper too (no wifi either, but this hotel is the only one that opened its... More

The hotel in itself is ok. Nice garden and clean rooms. They were out of everything in the kitchen and only offer pizza so I left to eat somewhere else. If you love animals you are not going to like this place, there are a bunch of caged birds I found truly disturbing. They should also clean the shared bathroom... More
