We have been wanting our little one to experience the great wildlife this country has to offer, so we decided on Kwantu Game Reserve, largely as they were child-friendly and offered a very attractive day package. The staff were magnificent, very interactive, helpful and happy. As far as the game drive goes, it was just as good, our guide was...

We attended a Retreat at Kwantu with dear friends. We had an amazing time. The Game Drive was excellent with even a close sighting of a herd of beautiful African Elephants. Getting back to the hotel, we were treated to a gastronomic experience which left us feeling beyond satisfied. Our luxurious rooms were spacious and just the cherry on top...

The hotel is child friendly. The staff is so professional and polite. Great for both family and couples. The conservation of nature in the the reserve just inspires one. They have the most beautiful animals and well informed rangers to explain the history of the place and animals.

Our stay at Kwantu was one of mixed outcomes. We stayed in the Lions View Villa, which advertised on the promotion leaflet as five star accommodation. It was not 5 star, it was more like a comfortable self catering unit. The unit itself was comfortable with the exception of the shower and the TV which had bad reception. The food was...

Every time we visit Kwantu it's just gets better and better! Over the last few years they have really upped their game (pun intended). This time we stayed at the Lions View self catering units which were great. Located near the predator rehab camp, we could hear the Lions almost purring through the night (never at a disturbing volume though)....

Having taken the kids on a boat cruise, the next thing they wanted to do was to experience wild life up close. Kwantu Game Reserve came to mind as the only halaal place and alcohol-free environment which would be suitable and having the big 5. Located about 85km away from Port Elizabeth, in the Eastern Cape, we could visit our...

Kwantu Game Reserve has been an awesome experience. Everything from the staff to the acommodation and food were superb. They truly are a five star luxury hotel that offers a real bush experience. Of the big five, I managed to see the African lions, African elephants, Cape buffalo and black rhinoceros during my 3 night stay. I would suggest everyone...

I stayed at Kwantu for almost a week and everything was just great! I loved the various game drives and the guide, Mr. Innocent, told me so much about all the different animals, their living space and the work in a game reserve. It was very interesting to see how great the staff at Kwantu works together to make sure...
