Besides being in the hills of Cape Breton in Canada this is the closest I have been to heaven. The views -breathtaking - and the facilities beautiful. Our room was in the old hay loft and the main house was the original barn with the family home above. There was once a carved hatch to let the heat of the...

The area is far from any modern city and the tourist streak so you have a chance of sensing the true Italy. The estate is originally a farm and home but has been gradually developed into a comfortable yet by no means pretentious inn type hotel. The family makes their own cold cut produce and serve all the specialities from...

Eventually we found door with a bell; this...

His father picked golden cherries for us to taste. On the first night there was a wedding supper...

Loris was most hospitable!! The rooms were clean and comfortably appointed. The surroundings were gorgeous and very peaceful. Dinner is available for a fee, and what a meal it was! Some home grown/produced portions to the meal. Breakfasts were available as promised and plentiful. Loris even helped us book another agritourismo for our last night in Italy. We would recommend...
