Had the utmost pleasure of staying at Kempston B n B last weekend with great friends as part of combined birthday celebrations. What a wonderful setting to be able to completely relax and enjoy yourself away from everyday stresses and strains. The hosts Trudi and Colin are a delightfully friendly couple who made us feel more than welcome from the moment of arrival. The interior of the house has to be seen in person to fully appreciate how beautiful and enchanting it really is and the breakfast selection provided by Trudi was simply sensational. All in all Kempston B n B is indeed truly exceptional and I am very much looking forward to a return visit very soon.

A very lovely B&B in a glorious setting with brilliant hosts. Rooms first class and a short journey to Elgin and Lossiemouth and surrounding area. The breakfast is a brilliant way to start the day This was the second visit to Kempston house and is now a must when staying in the area. Close to Elgin and a lovely base for traveling into the local whiskey regions of Aberdeen and Speyside

This is the second year that we have stayed at this exceptional B&B . Colin and Trudi are the most friendly hosts that we have encountered on our travels and B&B stays over the past years. The sitting/dining area is beautifully fitted with period furniture and has the most relaxing homely feel to it Trudi’s cooked breakfast are just perfect with a large selection to choose from. If you are not into a cooked breakfast then there’s also a wide selection of cereals , fresh fruits and juices that will set you up for the rest of the day.

My husband and I had an amazing time at beautiful Kempston House. Everything is immaculate throughout and the breakfast is delicious with an extensive choice. Colin and Trudi are both so kind, welcoming and such amazing hosts, taking time to recommend places to visit. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The location is peaceful with stunning views but Elgin is only a few miles away with good facilities and an excellent choice of restaurants. We stayed in the Glenfiddich room which is decorated and furnished to a high standard with a huge luxurious bed and en-suite. The spotlessly clean room is so well thought out with refreshments, small fridge, electric fan, iron/board, hairdryer etc. Everything is catered for. It is clear that Colin and Trudi take pride in everything they do and work very hard to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay. We can’t wait to return. Please stay here, you won’t be disappointed. 5 star perfection.

I've had the pleasure of staying at Kempston House B&B twice now. The first was a much needed and appreciated stop while on a gruelling work tour, and the second a relaxing visit with my partner. Both times I was welcomed with cheery smiles and a wonderful pot of tea by Trudi - sorely needed after the long drive from Edinburgh! The area itself is absolutely gorgeous, and well worth exploring the surrounding walks, or the distilleries near Elgin and Dufftown if you're so inclined. Having only spent a short time there, I'm sure there are many more wonders to be found! The house and rooms feel completely relaxing, and extremely well catered to holidaying needs. Both times I stayed in the Macallan Room. It is clear Trudi and Colin work hard to keep such a lovely house with such a wondeful atmosphere. And the garden is a work of art, too! Having spent quite a deal of time in B&Bs for work all across Scotland, it is safe to say that Kempston House is the best B&B I've had the pleasure of staying in. A cut above the rest. So much so it was worth a second visit with my partner, and is somewhere I look forward to returning to again and again in the future! Needless to say, I couldn't recommend it enough.

In an age when so-called 'service' can be surly and unresponsive, it was a pleasure to spend 2 nights at Kempston House with my wife, parents and my brother and sister-in-law for a nearby special family gathering. The accommodation (we took all 3 rooms) was top class. The hearty breakfasts could shame a five star hotel, thanks to Trudi and Colin's attention to detail. We left a phone charger behind, and Trudi posted it back to us immediately. Now that's service!

My partner insisted we come and stay here after she spent a night on a work trip, and I am so glad she did! Kempston House is perfect on all counts - the location is idyllic, the hosts so lovely, the breakfast delicious, the rooms are wonderfully decorated and welcoming. Trudi and Colin have obviously put great thought into the little details - the only B&B I've stayed in with a small fridge in the room! Trudi was particularly helpful with recommendations for the local area, and I can only hope the next time I am able to stay here again it will be for a bit longer. Many thanks for a lovely stay, and we shall be sending you a postcard from Oslo!

Trudi and Colin love owning and operating their B&B and it shows from the minute they greet you upon arrival. The breakfast is scrumptious! The spacious rooms are beautifully designed and warmly decorated. There is both peace and tranquility about their property and yet lively and entertaining conversations at breakfast if you so choose. I will return another day for sure.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Kempston House B&B.So Clean and tidy. The proprietors Trudi and Colin are very friendly and excellent hosts. Food was amazing and nothing too much trouble.( I am a Coeliac and was well catered for and looked after exceptionally well)The attention to detail both in the dinning room and the bedroom was just wonderful. The Bedroom was so comfortable with en-suite and beautifully set out with tea and coffee facilities in the room.Everything is thought of with an Iron board & Iron /hairdryer every need catered for. The bed was so comfortable and had a great nights sleep as Kempston House is set in a beautifully peaceful country setting with beautifully attended gardens.Free WiFi also. We Will certainly be back again. xx Ann &Willie Wilson.
