Currently staying here. Lovely clean rooms and comfy bed. Tea making facilities in the room. Complimentary Soap and shower gel/shampoo in bathroom. Room nice and airy. Staff really friendly and helpful. Lovely views of fields. There is a working farm next door with tractors coming and going. I loved this coming from a farming background. Food was nice and reasonably...

Our overall experience was disappointing with this meal which was a real shame. The location of the hotel is good for walking but really needs updating. The two girls that were serving we couldn't fault they were pleasant and couldn't do enough to help. The food was average, ok, but not good enough to want us to return. There were...

Used Groupon for Sunday lunch. Arrived and seated at table near a door so was a little drafty. Table cloth had crumbs and a soup stain. Really should change table cloth between services. Knife had what looked like an egg stain on it and soup splashes were on the radiator. Right, that's the moaning over with. The two young girls...

Checked in to find we had been given room 7. Our beds felt springy and lumpy, mattresses had not been replaced even though previous guests had complained about them on TripAdvisor. Receptionist said if we asked in the morning they could be changed, but the following morning a different receptionist said they had NO replacement mattresses. We were offered a replacement...

We only stayed one night, but had a lovely stay. When we arrived, the lady on reception was very pleasant. We had room 10, which was on the front of the hotel, overlooking the A515, and we did wonder about the road noise. We had no problem with noise throughout our stay. We ate at the hotel at night, there...

This hotel is ideally situated for those wishing to walk or ride on the Tissington Trail and explore the surrounding countryside. The hotel grounds open directly on to the trail. Our visit was somewhat disappointing however. Our room, in the annex, seemed 'tired, and in need of some tlc. The main hotel was fairly attractive but the dining room seemed...

We just stayed one night here & had a very pleasant stay. We had a small double room , 18, but the bed was very comfy & it was very quiet. Just a shame we couldn't get any breakfast b4 eight. The other disappointing feature is the poor quality of the breakfast buffet .... cornflakes/weetabix & tinned peaches! But the...

The greeting was lovely, the owner was pleasant and friendly. The reception area is delightful with 3 large sofas and large windows for natural light. The bar is well stocked and comfy chairs. Following on from the bar area there is s board games room... lovely. The room was clean & spacious (room 15) bed was comfy, my concern was...

We stayed for a friends birthday and the staff were great! They couldn't do enough for us and were so helpful. We had a Prosecco afternoon tea which was amazing. We also had 2 spa treatments each - I can recommend the back massage and scalp massage. Breakfast was lovely. A great location and we will def be returning.

To be honest I feel a bit mean in writing this, but at the same time I feel other users should be aware. Myself and a friend went for afternoon tea and spa treatments. The treatments were laughable, the fact that we had a Groupon was very obvious. Aside from this I feel that companies should try to wow you...
