Vivienne and Philip were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. From catering to my father's lactose intolerance in every way, to giving us lifts, to drying our outdoor gear after a rainy walk...and of course, the amazing breakfast! The room was lovely and the fact that it had it's own lounge was great. I could go...

The guest house is in a superb location, being on the side of Lose Hill and near Hope, Castletown and lots of other local attractions. On arrival we were welcomed by Philip and Vivian very warmly and with tea and home made cake. Our room was very comfortable and a great place to return to after a long walk or...

Not the first time that we have visited Underleigh House and, hopefully, it won't be the last. The BEST breakfasts in any B&B we have ever stayed in. The nicest, warmest hospitality of any hosts. The cosiest rooms. The sweetest cat (Freddie) and the best recommendations for walks and pubs and restaurants. Highly rated. Vivienne and Philip are the template...

This was a perfect B&B in every respect. Warm and friendly hosts, comfortable room, good bed, varied and interesting breakfast and every request catered to. I explained the sort of walk I could manage and Vivienne matched it to a T. She loaned me a walking stick. She met me at the train station and took me back. There is...

We stayed here for three nights. We were booked into The Derwent Suite on the 1st floor, bedroom, en-suite & private lounge c/w tea & coffee making facilities, small fridge as well. Spacious en-suite c/w complementary toiletries. Vivienne gave us a very good tour of the suites facilities and how things worked. This, believe me, was very good as I...

I came from Toronto to Derbyshire for a family wedding in Hope. I spent 3 nights at Underleigh and my daughter, who joined me from London, was there for 2. The Townhill Garden Suite was the only accommodation left & was more than I had planned to pay, however, we loved this one-bedroom suite with its own very comfortable separate...

Greeted by Freddie, the friendly house cat and Vivienne who warmly welcomed us with tea and cakes in the lounge. We stayed in the Derwent Suite with large bedroom and separate sitting room. Very comfortable bed and large ensuite shower room, soft fluffy towels, and toiletries provided. Everything was spotless, and there were lovely views from the windows of Lose...

We had a lovely 3 night break at Underleigh House, and our hosts Vivienne and Phillip made our stay so relaxing. We stayed in The Townhill Garden Suite which was perfect as it had its own lounge, which had doors that led out into the garden. I am on crutches - there are several steps to access the bedroom, or...
