Three Rivers is a family owned business which is managed by myself, Jodi. We have a real passion for the outdoors and strive to preserve the site with wildlife at the forefront and to maintain a beautiful, peaceful, natural spot for people to enjoy. We believe that camping should be an ecologically sound way to holiday. When you book your holiday at Three Rivers you are getting so much more than just a patch of grass. Whether you want to cool down in the river on a hot summers day, take a lazy amble downstream, explore far and wide on your kayak, mess about on a paddle board, ride your bike down country lanes, walk for miles, take a short walk, relax in a local pub, or just simply sit back and watch nature at its finest, Three Rivers offers it all.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a beautiful campsite alongside the River Waveney, on the Norfolk side of the border with Suffolk. Constructed about 3 years ago in quiet, very rural surroundings, it is well laid out and very nicely maintained. It has hard standing/grass pitches with electricity for camping cars, and caters also for caravans and tents, families and dogs. The toilet block is always warm and clean, and the showers are built to a high standard, and hot. There is provision for draining grey water, and for emptying your toilet cassette. The site is securely gated, access via code.
You can hire a canoe, or launch your own. Easy walk to the village pubs.
Jodi and her staff are welcoming and helpful, and will do all they can to accommodate their visitors. I cannot recommend the site or the personnel highly enough. Booking obligatory. Weekends are busy, but not overcrowded.

Just spent a week at Three Rivers. It was great.
The campsite was lovely we had a premier river pitch. It had plenty of space, picnic tables are a nice touch with each pitch.
We had a lovely welcome from Jodie, who showed us to our pitch.
We hired a canoe and paddled to the locks inn and had a decent lunch. Definitely recommend hiring from the boat shed, although quite a few people had brought their own.
The wherry inn is 5 mins walk away, dog friendly and very friendly staff , lot's of tables to sit outside in the sun.
This was a great site. Jodie and the team were so friendly and helpful.
Jodie showed real dedication, mowing the pitches in the pouring rain, in preparation for the next visitors.
We will definitely be back absolutely loved the
Peace and quiet.
It was busy at the weekend but it was nice to see.
Thanks to all. A very friendly site that definitely gives you chance to recharge.

Thanks again

I stayed here with a group of friends in September 2021. We camped in the 'wild camping' area for several nights.

We had good access to the river and plenty of space to pitch our tents, park our cars, etc.

The area felt very private and separate from the rest of the campsite, especially in the evenings.

It was a bit of a hike to use toilets / facilities, but this was to be expected for the nature of the type of campsite area we were in.

It was quiet at night, and dark enough for a very good view of the stars.

We were allowed to play acoustic musical instruments on site as long as not too loud/late.

It was possible to have a fire but I believe we had to arrange in advance with the campsite to have this.

Returned to this little jem of a site for the May Bank Holiday weekend. Lovely spacious pitches, clean toilets and showers and a cracking location for exploring the broads. Plenty of walking routes, pretty little village with pub/shop etc a short walk away and boat hire on site means you can explore from the water as well. Wild camping and electric pitches available. Jodi, the owner is so lovely and friendly, as are her hard working children who help out! Perfect place to chill out for a few days...we certainly did 🤗

We visited Three Rivers so that our daughter could try paddle boarding. She had a guided session with Boo, who was lovely, friendly and very helpful. She thoroughly enjoyed it and would like to learn more. Although we weren't staying there, the campsite was also lovely and very clean. It looked like a lovely place to stay and we will consider doing so next year.

We absolutely love this campsite and are lucky to have it on our doorstep - although once on our pitch we could be anywhere - a beautifully managed, peaceful campsite making the most of its natural and beautiful surroundings.
The pitches are spacious , bathroom facilities are perfect .
We love the on site canoe / kayak hire .
We are back again in July!
Thank you Jodie and team

Is this camping only, or is there any cabins/caravans available to rent? Many thanks Mick
Answer from Jodi B
Geldeston, United Kingdom
Hi Mick, We don’t have any cabins or caravans but we are just about to open some semi-self catering rooms. They do not have cooking facilities (kitchen etc) but are equipped with crockery etc for takeaways or ordering a breakfast hamper with us. Hamper of local produce such as granola, Fen Farm Dairy yogurt, croissants, jam and some fruit. Or going out to eat at one of the lovely local establishments such as The Wherry, The Locks Community Pub or The Olive Tree. Hope this helps, Jodi
