....because the wifi never works properly.

The same situation occoured the last time I stayed for business but I had managed to forget and booked the hotel again.

Once again, impossible to use the wifi with a laptop, which is infuriating when you need to work at the hotel during your stay.

Receptionist was unable to help, same as the last occasion.

I will not stay here again for this reason.

First of all, this hotel is squashed between the busy street (and gas station) and the train tracks. When you arrive, it's not attractive, and it is noisy on either side of the building. The "lake view"... you must look beyond the passing trains, the dry-docked boats and the trees to see the lake.
The rooms are clean and spacious, but not at all charming, luxurious or cozy. The shower is just a glass cabin set on the tile floor with a drain. At least there is a mini-bar with 6 drinks. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful.
I am not sure how this hotel can be awarded 4 stars, when it deserves 3 stars. It is a bit deceiving to someone who thinks he/she is reserving a 4 star hotel on Bodensee for a holiday.
This hotel is really just good for a business trip or layover.

Was looking for a room in the Lake Konstanz area and after stopping into other hotels and being blown away at the prices, we arrived here and weren't even going to go in to ask if they had a room or their prices, but did. Was amazed that they were so cheap! Looks like a high end hotel but the price was really good so we got a room. Was shocked at the size of the room!! It was huge!! A nice couch to lounge on as well and a spacious bathroom as well. The room was neat and clean as was the bathroom. A very nice, modern room! Had a bite in the restaurant and the Pumpkin Soup was incredible!!! Was going to ask for a second bowl but had a main course coming. The "Grandma's" beef roll with mashed potatoes was pretty good also. The continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious!! Staff were really friendly, especially the reception girl and the waitress we had in the evening. I would stay here again if ever in the area!

Very kind personel. Clean and nice room. The breakfast was also excellent. The location is also very fine at the edge of teh Bodensee. The restaurant was closed, that was pitty. But there are good restaurants in the neighbourhood of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel recently and one time before about 1 year ago. The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice, the shower is a bit small, but ok. Breakfast is good. The only truly disturbing thing is that it is very close to the railroad tracks and for some reason, this year there were many trains passing, making quite heavy noise. Last year it was much less. Maybe this is due to the season we visited (November 2016, September 2017). The windows if closed are given complete quietness, but I tend to sleep with open windows. Then it can be disturbing

The property is squeezed between a local road and a railroad track. Trains run frequently and they accelerate thus engines are humming. Sleeping with an open window is somehow limited by this.
Rooms are new and for business travel. A little small.
Ask for rooms on the first or even second floor which provide better views of lake Constance.
A spacious parking garage is free as is WiFi.
Prices in this hotel and the area in general are surprising high.

Do not even doubt that driving the E54 road (or 31 on the other maps) you will have a decent level for improve your professional skills.
The necessity to monitor constantly the speed limit.
All that you can see will be on the way with cameras, and driving at a speed of 30 km per hour not an exciting event, meandering narrow streets, the desire to stare at the sides (and in the coastal zone of Bodensee have a lot of what to see) will lead you in Bodman-Ludwigshafen a little tired.
Next, for you do not expect nothing but bonuses from the all-seeing space that always knows when you need to get the award.
The first one____________________________________________________
The restaurant has lovely name “Rozmarin”. On the ground floor of the hotel building. Entrance from the street and from the lake, the terrace with view. Great.
On the front door proudly flaunts a red plate with a capital letter M.
It means the global network of Michelin. Recommended for visiting and tasting. There is excellent quality of food, a wonderful selection of wines (and local). In general, a sin to drink wine overseas, staying in one of the wine-growing regions of Germany - Rhine Valley. Responsive and helpful staff. It also opens for breakfast in the morning. Good choice, quality and serving. Charming.
The second one____________________________________________________
Room with a view of the lake. Yes, it is exciting spectacle, a great opportunity to summer morning, breathe in deeply the fresh air and enjoy the view of one of the largest lakes in Europe.
Room itself is a good, no frills, but everything is new, clean and logical.
You will be satisfied.
The third one________________________________________________________
Between the lake and the hotel passes the railway. Do not worry, it's not too loudly. For those who love taking pictures - beautiful view and the ability to make great shots.
The fourth one___________________________________________________
You can always come back here. We will take the first opportunity for this.

I stayed one night in this hotel for business. We arrived a little bit late and the hotel called us for check in instructions. This check in worked very well and the room was very nice and clean. In the morning we had a great breakfast and check out went very smoothly.

I went to travel for business and this hotel was highly recommended. The place is amazing the staff wonderful. Breakfast is very well thought of. We met the owner of the place during our last night at the bar and he is very appreciative of our stay. My husband loved the view from our hotel room and explored the place while I was conducting my meetings. Rates are competitive. Would definitely come back if the opportunity is available.

"We saved money by staying in a room facing the street. I think it was 10-20 Euros that we saved. Could hear some street noise at night but not much. Could have spent the extra money to stay in a lake facing room but we got there late at night and were leaving early in the morning so a view wasn't what we were looking for."
