I spent 6 days across two business visits recently and found everything to be really good. Lovely breakfast, lots of choice, rooms nice and the host Carole is both professional and friendly. This was my second year of staying at Nutshell and I would not hesitate to book again, not to mention it's great value as well 👍🏾.

My daughter is at the local university so I stay at Nutshell cottage when I come to see her. Carole, the owner, is a lovely lady, always willing to be as accommodating as possible. I have stayed there several times now and will continue to do so without hesitation. The cottage is very clean and interesting, the bed is really...

I always stay at Nutshell Cottage when I visit my son who is at university nearby. Carole, the host, is warm and friendly and cooks an excellent breakfast (highly recommended). The beautiful Afghan dogs are well-trained and adorable, it has on-site parking and is easy to find. My room is always clean and comfy, with all the necessary amenities. And...

We have been staying at Nutshell Cottage whilst waiting to move into our new home, after some delays with solicitors etc we had to extend several times. Carole the owner has been absolutely brilliant in accommodating us and made us to feel very welcome at all times. The property...

Cycle marshalling at events around Southern England require the occasional stop-over and this is the second time I have used Nutshell Cottage. This is a finely renovated old cottage - modernised inside and I have always received a friendly, warm welcome from Carole with an exceptional breakfast to fuel me up for days events. There is a fair amount of...

Passing by on the Gloucester Road, one would never suspect the wonderful hospitality within the Nutshell Cottage's brick walls. Carole the owner goes out of her way to accommodate every guest. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast could well be the highlight of anyone's day. Serving home grown vegetables from her garden (the tomatoes are excellent!) and homemade...

We stayed here for 3 nights while on a cider making course. As 2 non smokers this was not a good experience. The house smelt of cigarettes as we stepped into the hallway. Our bedroom for some reason was particularly bad, the room and bedding smelt of cigarette smoke. This was not helped by the cottage location on a busy...

I contacted the Nutshell Cottage outside of the advertised hours due to an unforeseen emergency. Fortunately Carole who runs the B&B was completely understanding of my predicament and in almost no time i was tucked up and resting in a comfy bed. The following morning I had delicious full english breakfast and a hand drawn map with the quickest route...
