While we did not stay overnight, we received a very warm late afternoon welcome from the proprietor who was the leading local in a BBC documentary made some years ago about the Hittites. You cannot miss him as he has striking blue eyes. He also owns the hotel across the street which offers the buffet. We were generously offered complimentary... More

Stayed here just last night. Rooms were adequate but the hot water just stopped half way through shower .Staff didn't fix and just said wait half hour to one hour. When still not working went to look for staff but no one at office anymore. Dinner and lunch were overpriced and very average. When we went to check out ruins... More

Bogazkale is a small town, and in low season Hittite Houses and Asikoglu (owned by the same people, I believe) were the only lodging with restaurant on premise that served dinner, so I stayed there at the recommendation of the local travel agent. The room was basic but functional, heated, and fairly comfortable. The shower had nice hot water, which... More

The hotel is great and an excellent place to explore and discover the historical magic of Bogazkale. We were the only guests at the hotel as their season was finished, this made it a different experience. The hotel staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help and treat us lone visitors really well. Room were great.

Very kind & helpful people. We stayed in the Hittite Houses, across the road from the main hotel. My room was basic but clean & warm - they put the heating on for us.Breakfast & dinner were fine, and we had great 'pide' for lunch. The main selling point for this hotel is that it is so close to the... More

The only good thing is the location so the village is near to the archaeological sites. The room and the bathroom are simple with shabby furniture but it couldn't be important if the temperature would not have so cold. The hotel advertises with heating and when we asked to staff about this he answers there was not heating until October... More

The hotel location is good for the Hattusa site, but bathrooms and rooms need renovations. The owners are really helpful. The resturant is a walking distance from hotel, food is good. They have an archeologist who can take you for a tour in Hattuşaş site, and he speaks English.

For a much better rate (and you can negotiate) choose the Hittite Houses across the street from their main hotel and restaurant. Our room was very clean, comfortable, attractive and even had nice view deck with table just outside our second level room, with stream below. Ask to see BBC video on big screen in restaurant, about the Hittites, complimentary.... More

Stopped here with a tour group. The accommodations were okay but I found the beds to be uncomfortable and very small. Bathroom and shower were decent. Food was good, although breakfast was basically a lot of bread options.

We stayed in the pension rather than in one of the hotel bedrooms. These were clean and comfortable. For what we wanted, the location (very close to the museum and only a short walk Hattusa) was great and the rooms and food were excellent value for money. Deniz and his brother were very welcoming and could not have been more... More
