For over 18 years Italy is our favorite country for a holiday. Very friendly people and always polite in any way. At La Cascina del Monestero it was different this time. Very beautiful place but the female owner decided to empty our room while we were absent. She had other guests who needed the room. According to her al was... More

When we decided to book three nights on an agriturismo we did not know what to expect, however, we were blown away by this wonderful gem. Outstanding surroundings, excellent facilities, the sweetest staff and a great starting point for any type of excursion in the greater Barolo area. We will definitely come back and we were sad to leave. Velda,... More

Velda is an excellent host, warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The place is a quiet winery, rustic. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast is amazing, there was so much stuff, we could not even try everything. Their wines are very rich and full of flavour, a bit too much for our taste, but we bought a bottle of... More

We stayed here in july for the 3 d time in 5 years and it remains a super place! Velda and her husband keep investing in the place which is nice. Breakfast remains a highlight of the stay: home made pastries, fresh fruit, cols cuts and cheese from local producers... Top swimming pool with view of the vineyards! What i... More

Think of this as a large, rustic bed and breakfast (without the chinz or doilies). It's perfect for a family or large group. We were with another family and booked a room that had a large living/dining room so that the six of us could all hang out. The kids liked the pool and the breakfast. The youngest (age 10)... More

This charming little winery at the foot of La Morra offers you a corner of paradise... The hospitality of Velda (I'm just saying the breakfast!) and the wines of Beppe. All rooms are different, they're nice and pretty spacious. You don't go to La Cascina to stay in the room and look at a giant flat screen TV, you rest... More

Tucked at the base of the hills of La Morra this B&B is wonderful! Views are vineyards and hill top villages and blue skies and did I mention vineyards? The breakfasts, fasten your seat belt cause it will rock your world. It's a buffet like none I've seen in a Euro B&B. Super great host, Velda, what a doll. Really... More

This was our third visit to La Cascina del Monastero, close to La Morra and well placed for touring Le Langhe. We stayed two nights in the "Estate" suite - a very large bedroom with a canopied bed, a big bathroom with shower and a kitchen/dining room with fridge and basic cooking facilities. All were nicely furnished in traditional style... More

My partner and I stayed at La Cascina for three nights and were overwhelmed by the amazing property and the warm hospitality of Velda and Beppe. The room we stayed in was very large and beautifully decorated. The property is a working winery and is set amongst rolling hills of grape vines. The breakfast was fantastic a real taste of... More
