Will not be going again for a long long time, plus will not recommend.we live local as well. Took some friends from Coventry and I was embarrassed to say that this was a good restaurant to them before we arrived.

Stayed for one night. Easy to find just off the A511 towards Coalville. This is a motel type of hotel. Rooms are at the back of the hotel laid out in motel fashion. Very quaint really. Restaurant food was excellent and well priced. They have special deals every night. All staff are helpful/delightful and cheerful. Wonderful people. Rooms were good....

Food might not come as you like it at first, but it does get sorted, only problem was, my steak was not cooked to my liking, they took it back no problem to re cook, but they left my husband with his food to eat. So we basically had meals at different times, as he finished his, mine came back out....

Over night stay for New years Eve venue, rooms very shabby and damp in places and do not smell at all nice, booked a double room yet only one set of towels provided. Breakfast next morning only warm and sausages disgusting. Badly needs re vamping.Personally over priced.

Stayed here once again whilst attending a party in the local area, quick and efficient check-in, stayed in room number 10, their executive room, great size and with all the amenities required, though in a little need of a paint it is clean, tidy and comfortably. Late check out till 2pm, great to recover from a late night partying and...

Not great at all. We stayed one night here and if we could have gone home in the middle of the night we would have! first impressions, this is a motel not hotel. The rooms are tiny little 'pontins' style rooms which are basic to say the least and really in need of a good tidy up to remove the...

The motel style room was clean enough but badly in need of a refurbishment. The cons. Scarred and battered wood furniture, stains on the carpets, scuffed walls, laminate missing around a panel in the bathroom, curtains with missing hooks, dented and frayed lamshades, grubby looking easy chair. Snails pace WiFi The pros. Pleasant staff. Comfortable bed, good quality bed linen...

We went to try their new menu and found it good value for money for standard pub food. Steaks were good and done as we ask. We have been in the summer and the doors to the pub are wedged open but now it is winter they are shut. The only problem was getting in and out of the double...
