This 1838 Stone Manor and 1909 Carriage House is a step back in time - to the beginning of settlement in Canada. The rooms are nicely appointed with many antiques throughout. Comfortable and close to lovely walks on The St. Lawrence River and Fort Wellington is on the corner. We have simple rooms with shared bathrooms, lovely small self contained suites with fireplaces (gas) and private opulent Loft Suite with whirlpool bath & fireplace. We have a 3 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor which is mostly used by large families with budget in mind - sleeps 6-8. Full cooked breakfast, games room with billiard table and a lovely swimming pool round out a terrific place to stay.

Great place to stay while in Prescott. The loft is amazing and the whole building is lovely. Breakfast was tasty and varied. The town has some really lovely buildings and is well worth exploring. The Turkish restaurant was also great. :)

My grandparents lived down the street from this former single family house many years ago, and all my childhood I had wanted to see the inside of it - a gorgeous 19th century stone house. It did not disappoint. Fort Wellington is a 5 minute walk, and downtown Prescott is about

The Colonel's Inn is an 1835 vintage home, carefully maintained and restored. We stayed in "Isabella's Room", a spacious room on the second floor, with an attached screened in sunroom that faced south. A marvelous place to have an early-morning coffee, obtained from the Keurig
