Lester and Naty are extremely nice people and will do everything they can to make your stay as great as possible. Lester is a great cook, I can highly recommend his Lobster and shrimps! The rooms are clean and equipped with a quiet airconditioning unit. Remedios is a nice little town, nearby you will find a sugar cane / steam...

Natty is a very nice lady that soon made us feel very welcome. The casa itself is beautifully laid out and our room was good, with efficient airco, good beds. We had a very good diner with Natty and Lester. We often preferred going to a restaurant as this gives you somewhat more freedom to choose and sit for part...

We loved this casa. Naty and Lester are a lovely warm welcoming couple. Our room opened onto the beautiful open courtyard full of exotic plants and a water fountain. The breakfast and the dinners were amazing. Plenty of space to relax - I sometimes wondered where they were! Centrally located for the main town square.

Remedios is a small town with a delightful central square, but not much else. It is a place to break a journey rather than make a special trip to see it. Our casa particular, run by Lester and Naty, was one of the best we stayed in during our trip, with the hosts being very friendly - though speaking Spanish...

The rooms are comfortable facing a peaceful and shady courtyard where you can enjoy breakfast and dinner. Remedios is a little town and the Hostal is 5 minutes walk from the main square. You can drive to Cayo Santa Maria in 1 hour through the causeway. Lester and Naty are a very friendly family and Lester is a superb chef;...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the Buen Viaje Hostel, located in the city of San Juan de los Remedios, we rent two double rooms with air conditioning, comfortable beds and private bath. The guest can also enjoy furnished rooms to the colonial style, a fresh terrace with comfortable rocking-chairs, an inner garden, and a great courtyard with fruit trees. It maintains until today the high props of the wood ceilings, the austerity in the decoration and the natural light, which is complement with the necessary comfort and the familiar atmosphere in a balance of history and contemporaneity. The house is very advisable for those who look for proximity to the Central Park of the town, 150 meters from the same one; but simultaneously stillness and spacing of the noise of the traffic, the nightlife of the square, and the passers-by.¡IMPORTANT! ¿HOW TO FIND THE HOSTEL?Coming from Caibarien take the main street into Remedios. Keep right because street divides itself. When you see the church ¡¡WATCH OUT!! You are on A. del Rio. Andrés del Rio street is a different street. It is the next parallel street in the back of the church.Coming from Santa Clara you will need to take around the central park and find in the back of the second church Andres del Rio street. ¡¡WATCH OUT!! The hostel is located in Andres del Rio, not in A. del Rio street. ... more   less

“The front room is large, but looks out onto the street. This can be noisy at times. The next room (opens onto the dining room) in tucked away, but does have less privacy in a sense, as it is right next to the dining room. If I was a honeymoon couple I would choose a different room, however being a long-standing couple with it was great for us!”
