A rustic accommodation with all the charm in the world. Cleanliness, quality, good breakfast, more than reasonable price. Very friendly treatment from the owner, who advised us perfectly regarding routes (by car, on foot), local gastronomy and everything we could not miss in the limited time we had.
Regarding the location, the beauty of the area is well known and did not disappoint at all.
Sea and wild nature lovers, I recommend it

What a fantastic place! I kind of fell in love with it! At the end of a dead end road, in an oasis of peace. You only hear the birds and occasionally the old men in the fields discussing the latest news of the day or busy with the hand crew. As if time has stood still here. The owner is very hospitable, the rooms are spacious and well maintained. And then breakfast: the best we had in Galicia! The terrace is neat with good seating areas and the cats will keep you company while you enjoy a drink from the honesty bar and listen to the birdsong in the last sun. Don't hesitate - just book if you're in the area!

A quiet and beautiful place with phenomenal owners. Some homemade and varied breakfasts such as: sponge cake, cheesecake, toast with tomato oil and salt or with butter and jam, sweet or savory pancakes, grilled croissants, pastries, various fruits, grilled eggs with bacon with Galician bread, cereals etc... The surroundings for spectacular excursions.
Tips from the owners to visit places with complete success.

Amazing place just one hour drive from the airport. Great hospitality. Clean rooms. Delicious breakfast and free parking on site.
Spend there only 3 night, but would be great to come back. Places like this stay in your memory.
From there you can easily walk to the seaside and to the village.

We had a wonderful visit to Lugar Do Cotarino and were able to hike to the Cabo Vilan lighthouse directly from the casa. The rooms are superb and the sheets were air dried and very cozy. Alberto and his staff are quite friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast, with a choice of egg dishes and such. It's a short walk to town and many of the townspeople were out walking their dogs and such so that was also sweet. We also loved the common room and even had a simple dinner there one evening of wine, cheese, salami, bread, olives, and fruit. The town is also about a 25-minute drive from Muxia and the Lady of the Boat. Peaceful and restful locaton!

This is a beautiful, family run hotel in restored farm house. Our room was lovely, spacious with good shower room. Breakfast was fairly simple but excellent with freshly cooked eggs. Lovely quiet location just a short drive from some of the most impressive costline we saw in the whole region. You would probably want to drive to the village if you don't choose to eat in.

If you do want to eat in the hotel, you'll need to book dinner in advance, ideally day before. Seafood and fish are very much the speciality. We asked the owner to pick the menu and didn't regret it.

Overall, excellent stay, great value.

If you read all the other reviews here you will see that there is a LOT to like about this hotel (so I won't repeat the positives here), however, my wife and I were slightly disappointed with our stay here.
We stayed in the attic room in the main building. Yes, it is charming and nicely decorated, but the fact that the ceiling is really very low makes it, basically, an impractical and uncomfortable place to be and move around in. This is especially true for the bathroom. Showering is possible, but a battle!
My other criticism concerns the location. Yes, the IMMEDIATE surroundings are pretty, but the nearest town/village to the hotel is less than charming. There are many more, far more attractive, places by the water in Galicia.

Dear Sir, Thanks for give your opinion. The room of which you speaks, it is true that it has the low sloping roof, because it is a very old house and was not allowed to build more height. We always notify customers of this small problem but you wanted it anyway, besides you are very tall, I calculate about 2 meters. I am sorry it was not comfortable at all. Best regards, Alberto.

This hotel is based on a renovated farmhouse. The rooms are spacious, well designed and comfortable.

The owner is very helpful, though his Spanish is better than his English.

Nice breakfast and good broadband.

The hotel is outside Camarinas in a nice countryside area. Full of forest paths.
