Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On the positive side, the variety and quality of breakfast, the friendliness of the staff, the proximity of the beach, the reasonable prices of food and drinks. On the negative side, the shower cabin was too small to move around. Otherwise, the room was ok, old but clean and with side-view of the sea.

On a roundtrip passing by the ancient theatre (off course), we stayed in Old Epidavros. On a 'wild' guess, just staying for a single night we choose Apollon Hotel. Now, don't be scared off by the poor front sight. Just go around the camping to see the parking, things will get better.
It is not the most modern hotel, but it is well maintained and very well managed. Reception by staff was wonderful. The room again not brand new, but very well worth the 50(!)Euro's we paid!!! All clean, everything worked, fridge in the room, great view, good breakfast. Quiet beach and restaurant. It was our cheapest and by all means the best stay we had this holiday, 5star hotels included! So, short or long stay; Apollon is well recommended!

A heart-warming welcome accompanied by a fantastic breakfast. This was the start to our holiday in Epidaurus. Apart from being great value for money and having the possibility to visit some of the most important and beautiful archeological sites of Greece, we could also enjoy the sun, chris
tal-clear waters and fantastic food in the hotels restaurant in the evenings.
We would definitely return here again!

The hotel is a decent place but not too modern. It is clean, comfortable with friendly owners and a good breakfast. What is really magnificent is it’s location. It is practically the only one in the whole beach, which is 10 steps way from the entrance. The view is amazing since the only thing you see is the sea. It is a great place for a quite, relaxing two or three days break from the city. Another plus is the two three taverns located nearby which serve fresh fish!

My daughter and I just had the best two night stay on our road trip around Greece. The hotel met all our expectations. It was so clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds. The staff are amazing. Very friendly and professional. We had read many reviews before booking our stay and can wholeheartedly agree that the breakfast is great! The beachside cafe was convenient for evening meals. Thankyou. Will certainly return.

Hotel Apollon is at seaside "Yiallasi" at Ancient Epidaurus. The view of the rooms and the experience of it's breakfast is unique. The owners create a family sense of accommodation and offer facilities to visitors. I suggest this Hotel without a doubt.

Everything seemed easy here. Finding the place, check in. location : on the water.
Mountains behind you, palm trees on the lawn (not wild grass). Restaurant serves
superbe food, at low prices.Clean rooms, bath and large generous rooms. Check the pics closely , FREE home made breakfast, with true fresh OJ, And the owner begging you to eat more, try this: my wife baked it this morning. Water (bottle) dispenser, variety and taste. One problem: you are gonna leave, and i promise you: you're not going to do so with ease. Relax, soak it in, and believe.

We made our reservation for 2 nights over a month before the booking dates and, at that time, we pre-paid our first night.

We contacted them repeatedly in order to confirm our reservation - we even called them twice the day of our arrival!

When we arrived at the hotel, we were told that our room was no longer available due to an error made by them.

An awful exprerience overall - it really ruined our long weekend in Epidavros!
