A very clean and nice hotel in the country side.......lovely food, the best Ibis we have stayed at, its a good first stop on the way South or on route to Spain.....would also be a good base to tour the area, you will need a car.

This charming and well-run Ibis hotel is well worth a stay. It's value is well above the value of a typical Ibis hotel. It is convenient for the Autoroute A6 and just 10 minutes drive from Avallon. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are basic but very well-provisioned and a good night's sleep is assured. Wifi is excellent and...

The rooms are very spartan but comfortable. Bfast is simple but good quality (there will be no omelet station or waffle buffet, but good quality breads and pastries and meats and cheeses). For the price it's an excellent place to stay overnight on your way to someplace else. Would be nice to have a towel bigger than a postage stamp,...

I travelled for a 1 night stay on the way back from South France. It was pre-booked 2 days before arriving for free and we paid when we got there. We arrived and were greeted with a smile. The receptionist did not speak English very well but that was part of the 'middle of nowhere' charm. Either way she was...

Really happy with our stay at the Ibis Avallon. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and willing to accommodate their guests as much as possible. The rooms were spacious enough and the beds confortable (mattress a little soft for my taste but still slept well). The hotel is also quiet despite quite a few travellers staying in on the...

We stay here whenever we drive back from Italy. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and the beds are incredibly comfortable, whith lovely white bedding. I would definitely recommend. It's in a very quiet location but the town is only ten minutes drive away.

Very straightforward to find. Lots of easy access parking. We arrived just in time to avoid the rain, and although we were a little early, no fuss and check in ten minutes later. Good sized room, in the usual Ibis style. Large comfy bed, TV (nothing English), good sized shower room and lashings of hot water. We dined in, (reservation...

This is a beautifully positioned Ibis, in the middle of nowhere, with just sheep and cows for company. We have now been here 3 times and it has never failed to disappoint. The rooms are standard type Ibis, compact, but clean with a decent sized bed, and all the sockets etc. that you could want plus wi-fi. The staff are...
