The family that manage the business is the most kindly, gentle and nice that you will ever find in all the Corfu Island.
More than everybody the guy with the moustache is the most nice person in the island.
The family are hard workers, they work from the morning to the night without any stop to do everything that is possible for them to make every guest feeling great.

The apartment was big, nice, super clean, fresh and clean with airconditioning but also when you don't turn it on. Everything was working perfectly.
The place is quiet, no people screaming, no mosquitoes.

The swimming pool is big, clean, no insects, not too much chlorine, nice to swim also with open eyes. You can swim using many donuts that they give you for free.
The food at the restaurant is amazing. Is tasty, is clean, is cheap, is open everyday also when other shops are closed for sunday.

The position is perfect if you use a car like us. Nice to see the clean beach near the apartment, nice to see the restaurants near the apartment. Nice to drive not long way down to the south or to the north of the island.

I hope we can go again to this amazing place next year. We were really lucky to meet this place and this people.
I advice everybody to stay in this place.

We stayed in these apartments in July and we had such a pleasant stay. We were greeted by Michael on our arrival and him and his family and staff could not do enough for us. The apartment was spacious and you can purchase air conditioning at an extra cost of 30 euros. Michael's mum made all the food served there and it was delicious and reasonably priced. The pool was great, always clean and always plenty of sunbeds available. We felt really at home there. There was a large supermarket just down the road and a reliable bus service to Corfu town and other nearby resorts. We will definitely be going back as it never felt over crowded and very relaxed. Thanks Michael and family for such a wonderful stay. Gouvia town was a bit of a walk (about 15-20 minutes) but when you get there it is well worth it. The restaurants were fantastic and so reasonably priced especially the Chinese/Thai restaurant which you had to book in advance. Gouvia beach was lovely to. Can't wait to go back 😃 Also we had a "Greek Night" on the Thursday we were there, this was so much fun and the two dancers were wonderful as was the barbeque. You won't be disappointed if you go here.

We stayed for 2 weeks in a one bedroomed apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our apartment which was very pleasant with spacious rooms and an attractive terrace with garden furniture. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was regularly serviced and fresh towels provided throughout our stay. We slept very well as the beds were extremely comfortable and the location of the establishment is very peaceful.

The site as a whole is very attractive and set in well maintained gardens. The pool, terrace and bar are very pleasant and welcoming - we were always able to find available sunloungers. The pool is not huge but perfectly acceptable. We found the breakfasts to be extremely good and reasonably priced. Staff were always friendly and helpful.

We hired a car which is a brilliant way to explore the island and also used it to drive in to Gouvia in the evening where there are plenty of restaurants. Its only a 15 minute walk in to Gouvia from Spyridoyla but its not the nicest of walks as its along a very busy raod and you need to take care in the dark as the pavements are a hazard! There is an an amazing supermarket just a couple of minutes walk from the apartments, very handy.

We had a great holiday at Spyridoyla and wouldn`t hesitate to return!

Stayed for 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom apartment with family. Very basic and dated interior. Self catering but hardly any equipment to cook with in the kitchen! One pan to use on an electric hob. There was a microwave, but NO oven or toaster etc. Limited cutlery and utensils. You’ll need to eat out every night.
Had to pay additionally for air con, which was not clear that there was an additional charge (100 Euros for 2 weeks!).
You’ll need a car if you’re staying here, or walk on an awful uneven pavement alongside a dual carriageway to get to Gouvia shops/restaurants. Definitely recommend BBQ Art and the Chinese/Thai restaurant.
Buses are pretty good to get into Corfu Town.
Pool is small and lots of shade (sunbeds were reserved with towels so difficult to get some at times).
Apartment only cleaned once a week (bins emptied daily and towels changed every 3-4 days).
Food was good and reasonably priced at the pool bar.
Excellent ‘Emeral’ bakery just along the road, and a very good supermarket nearby too.
Definitely recommend getting a car and explore the island as there are much prettier places (including Paleokastritsa, Kalami and Kassiopi).
Gouvia beach is not great (apart from in the evening with a takeaway souvlaki or pizza), but again plenty of excellent beaches to get to by car.

We did not spend much time here as we had a car to travel the island. However, we were there enough to know it is not the cleanest of places. Squashed flies on the walls and floors, someone’s pants left in the wardrobe and filthy furnishings. Also if you value your sleep do not go here!! The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything your neighbours are doing! We barely slept when we were here and went home very tired. The owner who greeted us was lovely and we cannot fault him. We just felt that much more attention needed to be paid to the cleanliness of the place and the soundproofing! The sun beds looked ok but we did not use them as the area around the pool is very small and people appeared to be fighting for the sun spots in the morning and late afternoon. Overall it was an average stay and just not to our taste.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, we were happy with our apartment which was clean and set amongst lovely garden grounds. The pool is fairly small but fine for having a dip, and there's a shallow pool for young children as well as a small play park, the place had a lovely family atmosphere. Location wise, it's a half mile walk into the centre of Gouvia, there's a bus stop close by with regular buses to Corfu Town and Ipsos. All in all a nice place to stay

As previous reviews have said…these apartments are family owned and run. We received such a warm and friendly welcome and this continued throughout our stay. Our one bed apartment was spacious and clean; we paid an extra €30 for the use of the air conditioner which was definitely worth it! No issues with sun beds, pool area was quiet. Bar served great food, a nice varied menu, from snacks to evening meals, all homemade on site. Such friendly guests, many had visited the apartments multiple times. Supermarket nearby and Gouvia’s shops, bars and beach a 15 min walk away.
Thank you Michael, Charlie and family for making our holiday one of the best we’ve had (along with Chris and Toni, some lovely friends we made). We will definitely be back!!! Xx

First solo holiday and i couldn't of chosen a nicer more welcoming place than Spyridoula Apartments. From the moment i arrived i was made to feel at home by Michael, his mum and Charlie and everyone else that work extremely hard there.
My apartment had everything i needed and was spotlessly clean.
Pool area lovely, fantastic home cooked food.
Corfu is a beautiful island ive been several times, the nearest beach is about a 20 min walk, it was shingle beach with fantastic views and calm waters, there is a kiosk on the beach selling a selection of drinks, baguettes etc lovely people that run always happy to help.
Over the course of the 4weeks i was there i did lots of exploring its easy to get about on the buses and so cheap.
I would highly recommend the Greek night food was fantastic and the entertainment was great fun.
Also if you would like a boat trip ask Michael as the one he recommended was the best one i went on.

Just had a 6 night stay on my own and was so pleased I chose to stay here. The owners are so welcoming and friendly. Homemade food excellent and at reasonable prices. My apartment was clean with aircon ( 30 euros ) and an excellent shower. Although full it was never a problem getting a sunbed even if I went up in the afternoon after having the morning at the beach. The pool was lovely and not cold which was a bonus. A supermarket is a 2 min walk away and the beach a good 15/20 walk. Met some great people whilst away and if you are looking for a very friendly family run place where you can relax then this is a great choice. Many thanks to Michael and the rest of the family

Beautiful experience for a family trip!! We all had a ball and we felt very looked after. The food at the bar was lovely and the perfect place for a few drinks after a day of exploring. Micheal and Charlie were so lovely to us and made us feel very welcome!! Harmonie was so lovely and helped us so much when we needed extra towels and was more than helpful the whole time we were there! Will be a holiday we will remember forever!!
