We enjoyed our stay here and the young host was very helpful telling us about free parking options in the city centre over the weekend. The room was comfortable however the breakfast provided was made up of mainly cakes and no fruit. It was difficult to open the window and being summer our room became very hot and stuffy in...

We stayed at this wonderful B&B in Avesa, just 10 minutes from central Verona. The generous breakfasts included fresh fruit from the landlady's garden, delicious cakes & pastries and omelette or fried eggs. We enjoyed eating breakfast in the sunny garden next to our room. The room itself was spotlessly clean, with a modern en-suite bathroom. A fridge, kettle and...

We loved staying at La Camaldola. Although it is a little out of town, it was worth the short drive. The room is very large, very comfortable and beautifully appointed with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was adequate but overall I would definitely recommend La Camaldola.

As we were attending the opera in Verona's arena and had a late night finish, we wanted to stay somewhere very near the city but with a little peace and quiet for ourselves and some space for our dog. La Camaldola was absolutely perfect. Very dog-friendly, extremely helpful staff, very nice breakfast, and very good value for money. Make sure...

If i come to Verona again, i will absolutely stay here again. In addition, Mr Cavaggioni grazie for interesting with me and my friends. We turned back to istanbul really happy...

Few minutes away from the city center, the B&B is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood surrounded by green hills. The owner has been very welcoming and thoughtful throughout our stay, and provided us with all necessary information to visit Verona. The breakfast was simply delicious and very rich, with all sort of pastries and home-made biscuits! I highly...

Good, simple, concrete things combined with a still and peaceful environment. That's what La Camaldola can offer. Rooms furniture has a special timeless taste the same taste proposed in the morning when serving the rich breakfast. If you like a 360 degrees quiet chat with the owner's husband sitting relaxed in the garden may change your view over a lot...

Avesa is an intriguing little town on the outskirts of verona. It is like a cross between a small country town and an outer suburb. Easy short and cheap bus-ride into Verona. Download the app for the timetable. We stayed for 4 nights to get a flavour of small town northern Italy. Arrived Saturday midday to find the whole place...

“We had the orange room, it was quiet and ok, floor heating was not so hot in the day so we started airconditioning to heat a little more, was ok.”

“Bring cash because you can't pay for the B&B with a credit card. Also, there are very few restaurants in Avesa within easy walking distance of the B&B (two were always closed when we checked), so either eat your meals while you're in Verona or stop at a market or get take-out to bring something back. The pizza place near La Camaldola is very good and affordable compared to many other restaurants in the main city, but most people won't want to eat pizza everyday.”
