In the words of Mary Poppins "practically perfect in every way". What a gem of a find! From looking to booking to arriving to leaving, the process was superb. Anna is brilliant. She is so kind and helpful. She came to welcome me when I arrived which was lovely. The pod has everything that you need and is extremely clean. It allows pets (except cats due to their own cat being in the area) but you would never know that animals have been in due to how clean it is. The kitchen area is great with lots of accessories provided; pans, induction hob, utensils, plates, bowls, mugs, tumblers, wine glasses, toaster, kettle plus much more. The accessories throughout the pod are of a high standard and quality. The bed is very comfy and the bedding is nice. There is underfloor heating that heats the pod perfectly. Small window behind the bed if you get too hot and a Velux over the kitchen area. There is a smart TV that I had no problems with and WiFi provided. The shower was great. Very hot with a good amount of power. I have mid-back length hair and if needed to, would have been able to wash my hair with this shower. Radiator in the bathroom also. Even the toilet roll was good quality! Outdoor sitting area with two chairs. Sadly, I couldn't use them because it was very wet but on a dry day it would be lovely to sit out there looking out over the field at the sheep and alpacas as well as listening to the river that is close by. The area is so very quiet. There are only two pods onsite. There is a small farm next to the pods. Parking right next to the pod and you can close the gates to the area where the two pods are if you wish. There was a lovely welcome basket when I arrived from Anna with bread, cereal, biscuits, spreads and hot chocolate. You can order local meat packs if you like. I ordered the £20 meat pack with the hope of having a BBQ that is provided but again, due to the weather I couldn't use the BBQ so used the induction hob instead. There is nowhere as such for storage of your luggage, however, it may be that the floating bed was designed for this reason as you can store things under the bed of which I did so that it was out of the way. There is a sofa that is a pull out bed as well as the double bed. It's a good size sofa to use if not being used as a bed. The dining area is nice rather than having to eat food on your knee and comes with 4 chairs. The pod is a good size and certainly doesn't feel pokey. I will definitely be booking Beckstones again in the future. I highly recommend it for a quiet and relaxing stay.

We had an amazing time at Beckstones. The glamping pod was immaculate and the attention to detail was off the scale. Spotlessly clean, warm, welcoming, amazing shower and beautiful surroundings. There was a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us on arrival and milk and butter in the fridge. The pod has a very comfortable bed, sofa bed and just about everything you can think of. There’s a lovely private deck at the front with a fire-pit and is an amazing base to explore the Lake District from. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to the owners who were very welcoming and helpful.

This was a perfect place for us to switch off from a busy life. With pretty much everything you need along with a warm welcome from Anna (& the alpaca’s!) Jake (our Pom) absolutely loved the little doggy basket that was arranged. If you’ve got a dog I would recommend bringing them. Thank you so much, we will be returning! - Chris, Kayleigh & Jake the Pom 🐕

Just returned from a 3 night stay at these amazing pods. The pods have everything you need including a welcome basket with bread, milk, butter etc. They are spotlessly clean and the much bigger than expected. Anna is a great host, from the information email before you arrive to the minute you leave, she's there for you if you need logs etc for the firepit/barbecue or just general information. I great place to stay we will definitely be returning.

100% would recommend this place, went with my mum and her dog, mum had never been camping or glamping before so thought it would be a good introduction for her. The pod was perfection, the owner has thought of everything, first aid kits, fire extinguisher, plates , wine glasses, cutlery, a small burner hob, towels, the list goes on! A little welcome basket for the dog and a welcome basket for us also, lovely touch. The place was immaculate and was cleaned to the highest standard iv seen! The firepit was great, wood and coal provided for a small cost on the site, the owner even helped us light the firepit! You can buy eggs at the top of the site and they were delish! Thanks very much for having us, we will be back ! Ps- the shower was amazing, hot and good pressure 😀

Absolutely amazing pods. Couldn’t fault anything, absolutely immaculate and everything was perfect. The additional balloons, chocolate and wine I ordered was done so lovely, my partner loved them for his birthday. The pod had everything we needed and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Another little feature we liked was the soap that was used in the bathroom we liked it that much we purchased some ourselves. Would recommend to anyone, everything was wonderful. Comfortable bed. Very warm underfloor heating and shower was brilliant. Lovely farm and very cute alpacas to wake up to every morning. Will be returning very soon.
