Me and my husband stayed here with our 2 young children and it was fantastic. In terms of cleanliness the pod and all the facilities were immaculate. Absolutely everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and there was more room than suggested by the pictures. The location is perfect with no traffic noise, just the welcoming sound of the nearby stream and farm animals. The welcome basket was unexpected yet very useful! The pods are located in an area perfect for exploring the nearby attractions, with a very nice local pub nearby (Wilson's). The host was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend!

Just stayed for 5 x nights and this was our second stay. Booked both pods and took our friends with us. They loved it too!. Spotlessly clean and the hosts are fantastic! A nice starter hamper with fresh milk in fridge is such a nice touch. Anna brought us fresh eggs whenever we asked and we cooked on an open fire most nights. Surrounded by Alpacas and we were fortunate enough to be there when 2 of them gave birth to babies! They are so lovely to watch. Will always make this our favourite place to stay in the lakes!

Absolutely amazing pods. Couldn’t fault anything, absolutely immaculate and everything was perfect. The additional balloons, chocolate and wine I ordered was done so lovely, my partner loved them for his birthday. The pod had everything we needed and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Another little feature we liked was the soap that was used in the bathroom we liked it that much we purchased some ourselves. Would recommend to anyone, everything was wonderful. Comfortable bed. Very warm underfloor heating and shower was brilliant. Lovely farm and very cute alpacas to wake up to every morning. Will be returning very soon.

100% would recommend this place, went with my mum and her dog, mum had never been camping or glamping before so thought it would be a good introduction for her. The pod was perfection, the owner has thought of everything, first aid kits, fire extinguisher, plates , wine glasses, cutlery, a small burner hob, towels, the list goes on! A little welcome basket for the dog and a welcome basket for us also, lovely touch. The place was immaculate and was cleaned to the highest standard iv seen! The firepit was great, wood and coal provided for a small cost on the site, the owner even helped us light the firepit! You can buy eggs at the top of the site and they were delish! Thanks very much for having us, we will be back ! Ps- the shower was amazing, hot and good pressure 😀

My partner and I stayed at Beckstones in May 2019 and had the perfect, relaxing weekend away.
Although the weather was terrible, we were able to totally unwind and enjoy our experience and left feeling thankful for the rain as we were able to simply enjoy the pod and it’s stunning scenery.
The hosts are attentive and extremely welcoming; even leaving a complimentary hamper of local delicacies for our arrival.
It also goes without saying that the surrounding wildlife made the whole experience completely unique and special.
We can’t wait to return sometime this year for another weekend of relaxation!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Beckstones Glamping Pods which is on a working farm. The pods themselves are roomy, have everything you need, are warm and comfy. Facilities include underfloor heating, en-suite, a TV and a good sized kitchenette.

Outside there is a spacious decking area, a BBQ/firepit and amazing views of the Old Man of Coniston and Dow Crag. It was a delight to sit out on the decking or picnic bench next to our pod taking in the views, as well as watching the alpacas and inquisitive chickens.

There is a lovely 15 minute walk from the pods through footpaths to the Wilsons Arms in Torver which serves good food and has a large marquee with garden.

The proprietor was friendly and helpful when we met her and happy to give recommendations on things to do.

Overall a fantastic break for us and we would recommend to anyone.

What a wonderful location and they pods are exceptional as was the friendly welcome from Anna.
The little touches like fresh milk, breakfast hamper and teas bags etc were an added bonus.

The animals around the farm are a lovely addition to this quiet and well needed escape after Covid lock down.

Can’t recommend more highly and we’re already looking to book our return visit!

Loved it!

We had a lovely 5 nights staying at Beckstones. The pods are in great condition, cosy and comfortable. When it wasn't raining, we got great use out of the outdoor deck area and the bbq and fire pit was lovely for the cold Autumn evenings.
Anna was extremely friendly, greeting us on arrival - despite the pouring rain - and being on hand if we needed logs or charcoal.
The location is nice, overlooking a river and surrounded by fields. There are walks that you can do straight from the doorstep, including down to Coniston Water, and it's also an easy base for exploring further afield.

We were given two nights at Beckstones and stayed in Old Man, named after the peak behind it.

It’s in such a tranquil setting with alpacas in the paddocks above and below. Just two pods to choose from, set in their own area with the ability to park next to your pod, deck, picnic table and brassier.

We felt well welcomed but with no intrusion. The pod was spotlessly clean and with new equipment and linen.

I’d highly recommend staying here.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at these amazing pods. The pods have everything you need including a welcome basket with bread, milk, butter etc. They are spotlessly clean and the much bigger than expected. Anna is a great host, from the information email before you arrive to the minute you leave, she's there for you if you need logs etc for the firepit/barbecue or just general information. I great place to stay we will definitely be returning.
