We have just spent another very relaxing week in the splendidly equipped and very comfortable Kingfisher Cottage. Cindy & Paul are perfect hosts & nothing seems too much trouble. The homemade scones with cream & jam on arrival were a real treat! Cottage is well positioned as a base for exploring Norfolk & Suffolk. Can’t recommend highly enough. Will be making a return booking
Great communication from the start and the owners couldn't do enough for us. Cottage lovely and had everything we needed and more. Perfect accomodation for wheelchair users with wet room and everything on one level plus various pieces of equipment at made everything so easy. Lovely little garden to sit out and enjoy the wildlife on the lake. Set in lovely village with plenty to do. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately be back soon
This was a last minute booking for me as I had to be in the area quite quickly. Lucinda went out of her way to accommodate me and saved the day. She had lovely scones and jam plus the makings of a nice pot of tea ready for me when I arrived. Lovely cottage with view of large pond and wildlife. Lovely country setting. Very well planned layout of cottage for people of all abilities. Great for those who like the quiet life but with lots of other nearby attractions. I defiantly recommend a visit to Jayes cottages to people of all ages
we have been satying here for a number of years now and always love our time here. The cottages are excellent for anyone disabled - lovely big wet room and the patio where you can sit out, enjoying a drink or a meal desreve mention. cindy and Paul are very approachable and helpful.A cream tea greets guests when arriving. we find the cottage is very well located for visiting Southwold, banham Zoo, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and more! There is a pub just over a mile away aand th e lane are quiet enough to walk or cycle on and feel truely in the countryside.
Excellent location for visiting the sights in Suffolk and Norfolk, and even further afield in Cambridgeshire and Essex. The cottage was warm, very comfortable and well equipped. Plenty of room in the bedroom and bathroom for wheelchair and using a hoist. A shower chair on wheels would have been an advantage but we managed well with the one provided. Wifi now provided and worked fine. It was lovely to see lots of birds at the bird feeders and watch the ducks and moorhen, and to go for walks in the lanes and footpaths nearby. The owners Paul and Cindy were very friendly and helpful. They assembled the hoist we had hired before we arrived. It was very kind of them to do so. We weren't expecting the hoist to be delivered "flat pack" so to speak. It has never happened before when we…
