My wife and I recently spent a wonderful 4 days on Vamizi. We knew what to expect (no glass windows, no a/c, rustic minimalism etc) but we were quite simply blown away by the lodge, the beaches and the surrounding coral filled seas.

You can snorkel straight from the beach - the estuary at Muntu Nkulu on the south side of the island is a favourite snorkel spot for many guests. Our snorkel trips by boat are a 6-7 minute boat ride, usually on flat-calm water so it's a very easy hop to the best spots.
