I’ve just come back from a break here. Had a really lovely stay. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Even accommodating my cealic/vegan food requirements without any issue. Room was wonderful and clean. Beautiful grounds and lovely views. I’ll be visiting again!

Are children allowed for afternoon tea wit family?
I would think so as there were children there when we visited. But I don't think children would enjoy it unless it was summer & they were outside.

I was an overnight traveler and have no responsibility for the light over the fireplace. However I can say that the beauty and serenity of the location would cause most quests to overlook such a lighting detail.

Because in a hotel of that standard you expect it to be there! Reception staff weren't the most approachable of people. Also you now know this but more coffee is not in the rooms!!
