Friendly well equipped B & B. Amazing shower after a long day walking. Excellent condiments tray in the room. Room spacious overlooking farmyard. TV in odd place on top of wardrobe- difficult to see if your dinky like me. Wide selection for breakfast from fruit, cereals and full English. Unfortunately no packed lunches available for walkers. Stayed three nights at Lands Farm and were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home by Barbara and John. The farmhouse and bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard. It is a very comfortable and peaceful place to stay, and has a conservatory for the guests to relax in. Delicious breakfasts with all the ingredients sourced...

Stayed here while walking the Weardale Way.Comfy room and great breakfast but the star was Barbara. So welcoming and helpful especially in finding us somewhere to eat in the evening as the local was closed. Eventually she found us a place 10 miles away and drove us there.

Superbly appointed farm house rooms furnished to a high standard. Excellent service, good breakfast. Points to note: Trip Advisor has quite the wrong location of 'Bishop Auckland' for this establishment, it is some 20 miles West of there in the middle of nowhere and blissfully quiet. We found it worth the trip, however note that there are few places nearby...

Five of us stayed for one night at Lands Farm whilst walking A.Wainwright's 1938 247 mile Pennine Journey. We were warmly welcomed by owner Barbara Reed on our arrival.
