You should really not be advertising this hotel on your web site as a cheap deal. You always get what you pay for. A fantastic location but will say no more. They had fire in kitchen. I think it would be unfair to say a lot more.

We were on route to Padstow by foot and came across this Bar/Hotel and popped in for a quick cider. It was a real family fun Hotel with a great vibe about it. They were planning for a Bake off competition that evening in the garden all In aid of children in need. It's all in a really large house...

Yes the hotel is like Faulty towers but to us it was all part of the fun. The room was fine yes it could of done with updating but it was ideal for what we wanted, a bed to sleep basically. A nice touch was the biscuits and hot chocolate coffee and tea options. The views were outstanding. We had...

Fabulous location and reasonable welcome and I was keen to find things to appreciate, however the reality was... Mattress hard and thin - gave up trying to sleep at 4.30am Many surfaces dirty, alarming overloading of downstairs electrical sockets, multiple extension cords around the bedroom, en suite so small you needed to be a gymnast to close the door behind...

The location is amazing and promises something special however the atmosphere is poor, the decor very tired & dated and the food average. There is so much potential it is a shame that this place does not deliver more!! A big disappointment. We will not be in a rush to return.

Recent redecoration of front bar areas, simple food quickly served. Staff are friendly with reasonable food and drink prices. Spectacular views from rear terrace with further grass areas extending towards the sea. Very much the centre of the community with afternoon card games and quizz nights. Famed for substantial charity fund-raisers. There are areas untouched in recent years but all...

You must visit just to experience just how awful this place is. It is truely astonishing how shabby this place is. It must be a front for something else as I cant see how they could ever make any money from it. Good comedy sitcom material here! The main bar is essentially a toddlers play group and there are cats...

To be clear, this review is purely based on the pub/restaurant. I did not stay the night in the 'hotel'. On face value, there's nothing wrong with this pub. There's a fantastic beer garden with views of the sea, local beers on tap, and a nice looking food menu. That's where the qualities seem to end. This is a pub...

Where do I start? Well firstly it's in a beatiful location set in well manicured gardens and it's quite handy for the superb beach at Trevone. The place itself is a hotel with a bar that's claiming to be the village inn. It's all a bit of a muddle. Inside it's stuck in a time warp. The staff are friendly...
