The Stay in Hay Vermont is a lovely B and B. Pauline is really welcoming and makes an amazing breakfast! The room we stayed in is really bright, clean and homely. The B and B is a few minutes walk into Hay centre so is really conveniently situated. We have stayed twice now and will be back!

I have to say this is the best bed and breakfast that I have ever stayed. Pauline is so welcoming and you feel like you at right at home. Lovely double rooms which are cosy in the winter and it's lovely to enjoy her lovely garden in the summer. Only 5 min walk into the town so you can enjoy...

Stay in Hay Vermont is a lovely B and B and Pauline made us very welcome. The double room we stayed in has beautiful views from the windows and was clean and cosy. The house is a few minutes walk from the centre of Hay and therefore should be listed as being in Hay on Wye. Thanks for a lovely...

Stayed here during a Lands End to John O'Groats Bike ride, I know not exactly the most direct route. We were made to feel most welcome by our host, Mrs Williams, who made sure our bikes were securely locked away. Room was great, as I say a real home from home, the host even washed our cycling kit for us....

Six of us stayed at the Vermont whilst we were doing the Offas Dyke in July this year. It was excellent. Comfortable, clean and good value. The host was friendly and full of information. The breakfast was just right for another days walking ahead of us. What surprised us was how near it was to the centre of Hay on...

Every July I stay at the Vermont Guest House as it is far easier to park here in Cusop than in Hay-on-Wye itself, which is less than five minutes walk away over the stream marking the 'border' between England and Wales. The cooked breakfasts and en-suite room facilities are as first-rate as ever; Pauline Williams is a friendly host. The...

If you want a really quiet & restful B&B in Hay-on-Wye then The Vermont is the perfect choice. Clean, very welcoming and in a quiet location literally FIVE MINUTES walk from the town centre, where there are lovely independent shops as well as lots of bookshops to explore. The Vermont provides an excellent breakfast and lots of advice to get...

One night stay in this fabulous b & b. Beautiful location just 5 mins walk to the centre of Hay on Wye. Pauline was very welcoming. Spotlessly clean & nice touches in the room - not just tea/coffee but wine glasses, corkscrew & plates & cutlery if you wanted to take food to your room. Very comfortable bed & stunning...

This Bed and Breakfast is in Hay-on-Wye and is excellent. Hay-on-Wye is famously on the border between England and Wales in the United Kingdom. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Breakfast is superb. There is parking space on site. The landlady is very pleasant and friendly. All in all this place is wonderful.

A fantastic B&B just a short walk to Hay on Wye centre. We were well looked after, the room was well decorated, clean and welcoming. Breakfast was superb with fresh strawberries followed by a 'full english' that set us up well for the day ahead. Will definitely return.
