We had a fabulous time at Thula Thula, even though it was only for one night. Our guide Muezi was excellent and he brought the whole story of the Elephant Whisperer alive and up to-date. We shall certainly be recommending this to our friends and suggesting they read the amazing

Good day, October is spring and it should be warm and a bit humid maybe so better to get light and comfortable clothing, cotton, and a jacket in case of rain. Comfortable shoes too. We have no malaria but ticks might be present so make sure tou have some spray with you to spray your shoes and socks when you do safaris. Beat regards Francoise

If you want to enjoy watching them, it is the place to be. During safari drives they come very close to the vehicle. However no interaction. They are wild animals and can be dangerous. For myself it was my best elephant safari in 20 years

"Tent 6 and 7 are closest to main building, tent 1 furthest away"
"Tents are best thought of as glamping (indoor plumbing, heated beds and an outdoor shower). Tents rule!!!!"
"All tents are awesome!"
"The closer you can be to the Lodge the better as it makes walking in the pitch darknes that much easier."
