Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

2nd year camping in France and 2nd stay here. This is one of the best sites in France we have used. The best in terms of peace and quite and value for money. The site is small but has everything. The only thing it does not have is noise and disruption. Somehow everyone on the site seems to have the same idea, ie to enjoy the peace and quite. People come and people go, but they all respect everyone elses space. No barking dogs, loud TVs or kids causing havoc. People are still friendly though and chat. A good mix of French, Dutch, German and British. Activities available include, table tennis, volley ball, crazy golf, football, two bouncy castles, a trampoline, French boules, a basketball hoop, and of course a heated pool. Plus a bar and restaurant. The site is well located for many local attractions, including a fabulous zoo and caves. Also, just down the road is a Super U supermarket. The toilets and showers are good, but have the usual complement of spider webs found in many French campsites.

Excellent campsite. Well run, friendly and welcoming. Pitches are all large and either sunny or shaded. Sunny pitches have no shade but we were warned. Extremely clean and tidy. Lots of school age kids on site when we were there but so quiet, polite and respectful. Close to shopping and zoo. Very helpful and accommodating. Ground is very hard for tent pegs due to little rain. Deserves to be packed out. Great for tents, caravans and campers. WiFi available. Restaurant on site.

This was the 5th of 6 sites we used during our 21 night holiday in France. It was easily the best, easily. It was also the cheapest! We stayed on 2 very expensive Castel sites. They were nowhere near as nice as this gem of a site. The beauty is in the peace, quite and relative simplicity. The pitches are a good size and are all quite private, and none of them are anything other than a small walk from the toilet/shower block. The toilet block is fantastic. Very, very clean, with minimal spider presence, which seems to be mandatory in France. Huge, well set out showers. The best thing is the utterly zen like peaceful music playing in the block! A brilliant touch that I've always wanted in toilet blocks. Great heated swimming pool that wasn't too deep for youngster's. The whole place is excellently shaded by trees, so it's lovely to sit out on the grass near the two bouncy castles and zip line. Very nice. I can't recommend this site enough. My wife is exceptionally fussy about campsites, and particularly toilets. This was the only site in France that she genuinely liked. Excellent.

Delightful site. Lots of shade and privacy. Very very clean sanitation block which is just the best. The husband and wife are delightful and work extremely hard. Bread can be ordered at reception and there is a short walk to the village where the locals picnic and fish at the small lake. We will definitely return when in the area again.

A good little campsite, really clean and nicely laid out. Good activities for the children, lovely warm pool and paddling pool. Mostly French and brits. Loads to do with children (and not!) around, zoo is super close and brilliant. Closeish to the road so sometimes can hear the road noise, and pitch 13 was a little small. But overall a really nice stay in one of our favourite places in France.

This campsite was a real find. 😀 Good location between Cholet and Saumur. The family running the site were fantastic and very friendly. The facilities were kept clean at all times. Great swimming pool. Excellent food at the bar in the evenings. We hired the bikes for an afternoon and found a lovely quite route. Would definitely be returning at some point

A well run peaceful campsite close to many sights in Loire Valley. We were there before the school holidays which must have helped, although there was a party of charming well behaved French primary school kids with their teachers staying there who were enjoying their stay too. My wife rated the shower block as one of the cleanest ever. The couple running the site were very friendly and very hard working! We had a grill night at the bar and enjoyed the local beers and wines on offer. The pitches are flat with mature hedges and trees. The cheaper "nature" pitches (no electricity) have less shade otherwise are as good & as large as the more expensive ones. The swimming pool is a good size and heated. Heated too much for the beginning of our 5 night stay during a very hot early July however the thermostat must have been knocked back a few degrees by the time we left as it was fine then! We hired bikes one afternoon which was good value too. There are plenty of back roads close by and we enjoyed a bit of exercise to visit the caves about 15km to the north, passing through vineyards and fields full of ripening crops. Many others were staying for more than a few days so there was not that feeling of a stop off place either. I can see us returning some time.

This place is a slice of camping heaven. I have never ever been anywhere with such clean toilet facilities. The family running the site are fantastic and very friendly. The food is great at the bat but when it is busy there is a wait as it is all cooked fresh from scratch so worth the wait. The vine by the half letre isn't half bad either. Our girls played every minute they could we hardly saw them. Zip wires bouncy castles etc. Heated pool was amazing but we had to get woggles for the girls (there were some there but not always available) as pool was a little deep for them. The only criticism is bar wasn't open enough for us.

Well run. Well maintained. Helpful hosts. We stayed in a mobile home, these are quite old and basic but we just used it for sleeping in and enjoyed the region and facilities. Would recommend for anyone who needed a good Base to operate from.

This campsite changed hands from British owned to French owned in 2015 but English is spoken by the husband and wife partnership that now run it. The pitches are really spacious, nearly all have water and power at the pitch. The pitches are segregated by high hedges. The heated outdoor pool and paddling pool is superb. Adjacent to the pool is a restaurant and bar which was not open when I was there as this was very late season. The owners are very friendly. The sanitation area is well constructed with instantly warm showers, perfect temperature immediately (quite amazing) the toilets are all normal seating ones, with toilet paper supplied, and the wash areas are enclosed cubicle type offering proper privacy. There is an extensive play area with well managed facilities, play houses, bouncy castle, zip wire Football area and walks. nearby there are vineyards and cycle track (not designated as such). To the north on the vineyard slopes the cycling can be a bit tough albeit vey rewarding, but the side roads nearby to the south it is easy cycling over flat but gently undulating lands. I will definitely use this site again.
