Nicely restored patrician house in the old part of Vilaverd. Comfortable beds, well equipped bathrooms, friendly owners - helpful with advice on the region. All rooms are different - take your pick. Nice breakfast. Tip: Avoid driving to the hotel entrance (advisable only for small cars). Parking some 80mtr away.

We were there with a group of friends. All went very well. All the rooms are nice, comfortable and very different from each other. The bathroom is ok. Very clean. We had dinner which was very well prepared. Breakfast is also excellent. This hotel is very small and in the middle of Vilaverd, a small village.

The lovely couple who run this small hotel deserve praise for their interesting conversion of the old building, with individualistic rooms and reception areas. They serve excellent breakfasts and very interesting evening meals, which are full of local flavours. The personally selected local wines are a boon. Free wi-fi is a real attraction for travellers. Only draw-back? Park your car...

The hotel is splendid. The owners are really kind and friendly people. They speak fluent French and English. Rooms are spacious, quiet and clean. There are a lot of nice places and wineries to visit around. We spend two nights there, the dinner was excellent and the price is very reasonable. We recommend this place.

If you are looking for a modest place to stay that is clean and the owners are friendly and helpful, this is a good place. While in the city center of Vilarerd, there is not much in the town to do or see. The rooms are pretty spartan. The building itself is interesting.

We stayed here for one night on our recent trip to Barcelona and Catalunya because we wanted somewhere off the beaten track. A lovely hotel in a beautifully restored old village house which was very comfortable and clean with a great breakfast served in the top floor ding room with a view over the rooftops. Vilaverd is a very quiet...

A very pleasant family run guesthouse in an obscure village reasonably close to Montblanc. Merce was wonderful and tried to meet every need but we didn't see much of Jaime who was buried in the kitchen. The food and hospitality were great but they had to create all the atmosphere themselves as the village doesn't offer much except old buildings,...

This guesthouse is in a tiny village, deep in rural Spain! Just what we were looking for when we booked. From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by Merce who went out of her way to help us on many occasions during our stay. The house was bought by Merce and Jaime in about 2004 and they...

Following advice from one of our friend we opted for this hotel just a few km from Montblanc. If you'd like a quiet rural hotel, away but not too far from Montblanc, this is the location. Hotel has a unique charm, each of the 8 rooms are decorated differently so it is worth asking for specification to meet your expectations....
