Arrived in the evening, had a lovely warm welcome from our host. The rooms are spotlessly clean with good shower facilities and very comfortable bed. The following morning woke up to beautiful scenery surrounding every aspect of the property. The breakfast can only be described as superb nothing was too much trouble for our host. Would definitely recommend and look forward to our return visit.

One night business stay only. Spotless room with spacious shower. Very comfortable bed. Proper large home cooked breakfast and perfect landlady. Definitely stay again if in area. No tv which might bother some but not me. Perfect gateway to all major roads.

We stayed for one night and everything about this place is worth recommending. Lovely hosts, good room, very clean, comfortable beds, great breakfast choice and quality, quiet but convenient location. The Wortley Arms pub is 10 mins walk away and is definitely worth a visit for good food and drinks. Don’t hesitate to book.

Loved everything about the Finkle green b and b. Views from Primrose room, amazing. So clean, so fresh. The duvet was so soft and thick without being to heavy. Bed super comfortable. Shower was smashing. Breakfast cooked lovely, and homemade Granola was delicious, I am going to change the recipe I use at home! Rowena and Brian are perfect hosts.i have included some photos of the bird Hide, which was a bonus for my Birdwatching husband.

We had a lovely couple of nights stay here and were very well looked after by Rowena who was really helpful and friendly. Nice quiet location, very comfy, high quality rooms and a healthy choice for breakfast. Couldn't ask for more and would definitely stay again if we're ever in the area.

Just had 3 nights at the Finkle Green B&B. Absolutely beautiful, lovely surroundings, gorgeous accommodation, immaculately clean. Had a little nosey into their glass conservatory(sorry didn’t realise it was private) the views were superb. Top forge is a must to visit. Breakfast was delicious 😋 Rowena and Brian are very down to earth hosts and make you feel very welcome into their home. Well done will definitely recommend.

Stayed here a couple of nights as a family of 3 to visit the University of Sheffield. We were in the Snowdrop room, which was a lovely, modern family room with beautiful views of the garden and countryside beyond. Had a lovely welcome from Rowena with fresh milk for tea and coffee and a jug of ice cold water brought to our room on arrival. The house was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was good, especially the local yogurt and home made jam. Rowena was also very helpful with advice on how best to travel to the uni and the position of the b&b was excellent for travelling to Sheffield and the Peak District. The only minor disappointments were that, as vegetarians, we felt it would have been a nice touch to have been offered 2 eggs for breakfast or a veggie sausage, and there was very little cereal in the 2 jars left on the table. Also, we were left tiny tubes of toiletries in the bathroom, not enough for 3 people staying 2 nights, so I would recommend bringing your own.…

Thank you for your lovely review, we did say that if you wanted anything at all, just to ask - please remember next time you visit. With regards to the cereal jars, I am very keen on stock control and ensuring dried goods are fresh so I would rather them run out and you ask for more than keep adding to them. We try really hard to use fresh ingredients and i think one of you had our veg medley which had some produce from the garden.

A beautiful B &B set in spectacular surroundings. Ultra modern inside with breathtaking views yet a traditional stone building. The owners are so friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Spotlessly clean. An excellent gastropub 5 mins walk away. Beautiful walks. A real find. We'll be back again

This was my first experience in a real Bed & Breakfast as I was attending a wedding nearby, and it didn't disappoint. The room was immaculate, the surrounding area and the garden was beautiful, but the main star was the owner who was wonderful and made my stay very pleasant. When I went to the dining area in the morning, she had everything prepared; There was fresh fruit, almonds, yogurt, coffee and tea. I had the full English breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this B&B, I would love to find an excuse to visit the area so I can stay again!
