Stayed three nights for a "walking/birding" trip in Cat Tien Park in Deluxe Double River View room which was one of four new thatch units right on the river bank with a comfortable double mattress on the floor, mosquito net, fridge, ac/fan, big deck outside overlooking the river with a couple of hammocks and table, and shower/toilet room. It took forever for hot water to arrive from a solar tank so I didn't bother with that, it was warm enough anyway. Surprisingly no drinking water is supplied and there is no kettle/tea/coffee. I bought a large pack of big bottles of water in the village about 200m away. The ticket office for the park's ferry and the ferry itself are also both 200m away. I booked B&B basis, the breakfast is very good, fresh fruit available, but tea/coffee are excluded and need to be paid for. Dinner menu is also varied and very good. All the staff were very friendly and superb and reception co-ordinated my travel plans by bus and taxi from and to HCMC. Good wifi in the room. Looking forward to staying here again!

The accommodation is basic but comfortable. The rooms on the river have great views and it's super relaxing to sit on the balcony in a hammock and just chill out after a long day of hiking and exploring the park. The staff is the best part - they are so friendly, so helpful, and made getting food for a big group of friends really easy and straightforward. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy nature.

We stayed at the Green Bamboo lodge for 5 nights, so I can say we have truly been in this lodge. It is a good place to stay while you are exploring Cat-Tien National Park. What I really liked about the accomodation is that it really gives you a wild feeling, there are some geckos walking around on the walls outside and inside your accomodation, and with heavy rains, you can find the occasional frog in your bathroom. A true jungle experience! The view on the river is amazing, we spotted 5 species of kingfisher just from the balcony of our lodge and we also saw some hornbills and parrots crossing the river.

The swimming pool of the place is rather unique, as it consist of several pools connected by water flowing from the highest to the lowest pool. In the lowest pool, you are still pretty high up and you have a nice view on the jungle from there too.

The lodges were clean for jungle lodges, with that I mean that you will encounter the occassional insect or small animal in your room, but once again, this is a jungle resort, do not go here if you cannot handle this. The restaurant of the lodge is great and serves a good breakfast and has an elaborate dinner menu. We ate here almost everyday and enjoyed the view on the park from the rivers edge. The personnel speaks English and is really friendly. All in All a good place to stay for your Cat-Tien Jungle experiences.

I contacted the lodge in late November to book for 2-3 nights a week in advance, and knowing from travel blogs how difficult getting to Cat Tien National Park can be, I asked them for travel/transport advice.

The response? Dead silence. Consequently, I missed out on Cat Tien NP unfortunately (but fortunately Green Bamboo Lodge), as there were too many unknowns about getting there and away.

really nice place to stay , during your trip in the park. you can eat a lot of different plate at the restaurant ( cheap as well). The room in front of the river was really quiet with two big bed. It was clean.
The owner is really kind and helpful.

The staff were amazing! Very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Staff went above and beyond to facilitate the activities in the national park. The food was delicious and the room was clean and spacious. Beds were big and comfy with many pillows.

The staff at Green Bamboo Lodge were very kind and generous. My partner and I fell sick just before arriving and the staff really helped us out - they went into town to get medication for us and kept checking in to see if we were ok.
It's a really lovely location and very well priced. Highly recommend.

This place is lovely and Mr Vung the owner could not do any more to make your stay perfect. He used to be a guide in the park so has extensive knowledge of the area and can easily arrange the wild gibbon trek and also advise you on how to do the crocodile lake trek yourself.

The accomodation is lovely. Bamboo huts which located by the river in the middle of the jungle. They all have ensuite bathrooms and the bed have a mosquito net. They are exceptionally clean and have two fans to help keep you cool. This is the best way to stay in the jungle and very natural.

Mr Vung and his family are perfect hosts. On our last night, we asked if we could eat the same thing as Mr Vung and his family were eating as we are always keen to try the local food. Rather than just serving us at our table, he invited us to join his family for dinner and we ate some delicious food. It was a lovely experience and really made our stay.

Mr Vung is really good on responding to emails quickly to help organise your trip and he can also assist in booking busses to and from Saigon (and other places) together with arranging private transport.

When compared to the government accomodation inside the national park, and after seeing it for ourselves, there should be no choice at all - this is the place to stay at Cat Tien.

Our stay was brilliant. The owner, Vung, was the most helpful person.
He arranged so much for us, most helpfully the transport to and from the hotel.

Cat Tien is a way from the bus route and so he arranged moto taxis for us.
Vung advised us to book with vip bus company:THANH BUOI COMPANY
266 LE HONG PHONG,P4,Q5,THANH PHO HO CHI MINH.
number phone :0838306306

Vung also advised us to ask to be dropped off at the 126km point, to avoid the swarm of motos a km later at the usual drop off point for the bus, and he arranged very reasonably priced motos to pick us up from there.

He also reimbursed us for our 2nd, 3rd & 4th park entrance fees, as his hotel is not actually in the park, but just a 2 min boat ride from the park. Having seen the accommodation at Cat Tien National Park Bungalows we are so happy we stayed here, and met people who moved to Vung's from Cat Tien National Park Bungalows as they were very below par in service, cleanliness and price.

I can't stress enough how great the service from Vung was, and while the accommodation is basic, it was everything we needed and wanted.

We could not have wished for anything better. We were a little unsure how easy this trip would be as information via travel guides is scant and the closest bus stop is 20+ km away, but our host Mr Vung and his team were so helpful arranging transport so getting there was a breeze. The location is superb for anyone visiting the park as it's only 4 - 5 minutes walk through a local village to the ferry crossing to the park entrance. The food was GREAT and nothing was too much trouble. Our gorgeous bamboo hut right was river front - close enough to hear the Gibbons calling each other each morning. It's solar powered, has great showers, good toilets, employs the locals and a great way to be at one with nature whilst supporting local tourism and conservation efforts. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone who is after a close encounter with nature.

Motorbike is the best way to get around in Vietnam. Tigit rentals is a trusted company we used and a great experience with no problems. Good luck.

Night safari does park’s staff but you can go there by ferry. It starts 6:30 and lasts about one hour. After that you can take ferry back. Every time you cross the river you have to pay park entrance grę 60.000VD
