Fantastic week at what my friend and I think is probably the best hotel in St Lucia! We arrived after a long flight from the UK and transfer from the airport to the hotel to be greeted by friendly staff, a delicious drink and...an upgrade from a one bed villa to a three bed villa! The staff, service and facilities were amazing. The Landings is not a hotel in the traditional sense in that it is comprised entirely of villas, most of which are owned by owners on a freehold basis who then put them in the hotel's rental pool, to be rented out for holidaying guests (either via travel companies such as Virgin Holidays whom we booked through or to independent travellers). However all guests are treated to the same high level of service, be it owner or 'renter'. The Landings has its own private marina and private beach and several pools dotted around the immaculately kept grounds.

Like many resort hotels in the Caribbean prices of drinks and food are not that cheap so I would recommend opting for all inclusisve, even if you choose to eat out at other restaraunts a few times. We only booked on a bed and breakfast basis as we planned on eating out at other places but on reflection all inclusive may have been slightly better value. That said, each villa has a fully equippped full kitchen (and also a washing machine and dryer in each villa) so you could cook and eat in some evenings if you wish (there are several supermarkets a short drive / taxi ride away).

All in all a great week in a lovely place, thank you to each and every one of the staff at The Landings.

My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and could not have been more thrilled with our decision. As soon as you walk into the lobby you can feel that the space is special. The staff welcoming us to the resort could not have been more friendly and courteous and if safety around Covid is a concern this place felt like a safe haven from it. All of the staff followed every precaution and even coordinated our onsite antigen test to ensure we had no issues once we arrived at the airport for departure.

The food was incredible offering a rotating buffet each night at The Beach Club and we were fortunate enough to take advantage of The Palms a few nights while we were there where you can find more a la carte cuisine. To be honest our favorite eatery was Callaloo. It was our mission to try everything we could on the menu while we were there and didn't have a single dish we were unimpressed by. The most surprising aspect may have been how good the pizza was and this is coming from a couple of New Yorkers.

The room was stunning, incredibly clean and despite being right on the marina felt completely secluded and private.

The beach and all of the amenities offered through the resort were incredibly well maintained and modestly priced if you wanted to pay for anything motorized.

By far and away the reason we will be coming back in the future (in addition to everything I already mentioned) was how incredible the staff was. We were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of making friends with Flavia who on our last day made a point to find us to thank us and say goodbye. She was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Stacy was also super friendly and truly made us feel like VIPs during the trip.

I would also love to shout out Ophelia and Lilly as well as Benjamin and the rest of the bar staff as we always left the bar with more than a drink, and by that I mean, a big laugh and or smile!

Could not recommend this place enough!

Our first proper family summer holiday since Covid and the Landings did not disappoint.

This is a superb resort in a great location. The bay in which it sits is beautiful, the water is blue and calm and the beach is large with its plentiful white sands

Unusually the beach front is not the only scenic area to the hotel, it is situated around a beautifully kept marina and so every room has a view (beach or marina)

The grounds of the hotel are expansive and perfectly kept. There is a lovely walk round the marina between reception and the beach.

There are 4 pools which at the time we visited were always quite quiet and easy to get beds, likewise the beach has plenty of beds and there is never an issue finding somewhere to sit.

The highlight for me are the rooms or should I say, suites. My family of 4 had a 2 bed suite. Perfect in that we had 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, living room, dining area and kitchen (fully kitted out with Miele Appliances) there is even a washing machine and dryer (again Miele). For all inclusive guests you arrive to a fridge stocked with soft drinks, water and beer and this can be restocked for free as many times as you want through your stay.

To me this is the perfect mix, an all inclusive hotel but each resident has a fully kitted out apartment where you can cook for yourself when the food gets boring (see below!). In room dining is also offered as an option.

The staff are wonderful, in the main happy, friendly, good fun and obviously there to ensure their guests have a good time. Previous experience in the Caribbean has been quite mixed in this regard, with some resorts featuring staff who are downright surly where you feel as a guest you are getting in the way of them having a nice easy life, not so at the Landings the staff are fantastic.

My only improver (as I see many reviewers have stated) would be restaurant choice. The Callaloo beach bar is fantastic with great food for lunch but it closes at 3pm (drinks until 5pm) leaving a choice of just the buffet and the Palms fine dining for dinner. The Palms is excellent with really high quality food but the menu is quite limited (although it does change every few days) and so over a 14 day holiday it can get boring. The buffet is like every other all inclusive resort I’ve ever been to - quite poor. Each night they have a theme from a country around the world, but in truth every night feels the same to me. Italian night they serve pilau rice, steak, chicken and fish, Greek night, spicy rice, steak, chicken and fish, international night, vegetable rice, steak, chicken and fish- you get the picture! There is an al a carte menu but this is repetitive and limited. So if I could ask for 1 improvement, an extra restaurant would be great or maybe just a vast improvement on the buffet.

Other than that - the place is near perfect.

After a 5 night stay in Miami, we spent 10 fantastic nights in a beautifully appointed marina view, 3 bed villa apartment with a plunge pool. We opted for B&B rather than fully inclusive as three of us are vegans. The breakfast was okay, plant based milk was available on request and there were plenty of fresh fruit and cereals.

The apartment itself was extremely spacious with high quality furniture, bathrooms and bedding. A fully fitted kitchen and Miele washer and drier were utilised frequently during our stay. Rooms were serviced daily. The standard of cleaning was high.

The resort itself is in a lush, tropical setting based around a marina in the north of St. Lucia. Stunning, well-maintained plants, trees and shrubs surround all the villas. There is a wonderful private beach, with loungers and parasols, several pools, hot tubs and excellent tennis courts. Non-motorised water sports such as kayaks and snorkels were available for free. There is entertainment in the evenings in the bar until 9pm. Drinks and cocktails were very good. The resort staff were mostly very friendly, helpful and obliging.

There is a 90 minute plus transfer from Hewanorra airport in the south of the island which some people complain about. I personally found this was a great way to see the island. Taxis to and from the resort to Rodney Bay or the supermarket are expensive but the drivers are incredibly well informed and more like tour guides who are keen to educate you about the history and culture of St. Lucia. This was most welcome.

We did several highly enjoyable day trips from the resort, a sailing trip to Soufriere, the sulphur baths, Toraille waterfall and Anse Cochon for snorkelling. Also zip lining in the rainforest and Castries Market.

Our three teenager children had an amazing time and we loved our stay at the Landings. We were lucky with the weather and saw very little rain for several days. All things considered (ignoring minor things as no resort is perfect) we had a wonderful time.

We stayed just over two weeks in a two bedroom Marina view villa suite with plunge pool.
The room was absolutely magnificent with high grade fittings all through. Our suite consisted of two bedrooms (one with double bed the other with two singles), two bathrooms (the master bedroom one had a sunken bath and separate walk in shower, double sinks and toilet whereas the other had shower, single sink and toilet). There was an additional toilet off the hall and a large sitting area, dining area and fully equipped kitchen (with high grade Miele appliances).

Perhaps the jewel was the ground level secluded large sun terrace with large jacuzzi - such a lovely feature we had no need to use any of the four swimming pools the complex has.

From arrival to departure staff were very friendly and always went out of there way to ensure you were having a good time. There are so many but Neil, Tamar and Che all come to mind as going beyond the call of normal duty.

Perhaps the only thing that lets it down slightly is the food. We were staying on a bed and breakfast basis only rather than many guests that were all inclusive.

There is an A La Carte restaurant (Palms) which we tried once and although the food was quite nice we found the prices extremely expensive for the quality level. The rest of the time we tried the different selection of buffets available each night at the Beach Club restaurant. These are also quite expensive but usually a good choice is available. Sometimes selections were much reduced from the start and not always replenished which was not ideal for us as later diners.

We are in the wine industry and found the cost of wine rather pricey so the local beer was a good alternative.

There is limited entertainment at the Beach Club restaurant in the evening, this is partly restricted by curfew times. Some of it was mediocre but the small steel band was excellent!

The procedures in place to deal with COVID are excellent, all staff wear masks at all times and guests are required to wear masks in public areas indoors.

There are a large number of excursions by boat which we did not avail ourselves of and the overall setting is ideal for those who want to get away from it all as well as those with young families.

It was a pleasure to come here and we would certainly recommend and return.

My family (wife + myself + two kids ages 14 and 17) just spent a thoroughly wonderful week at The Landings. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort, where do we start. We rented a 3 bedroom unit that was absolutely gorgeous. Had 3 1/2 bathrooms, a nice kitchen if you choose to cook and a beautiful balcony with a hot tub that overlooked the ocean. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the beach was terrific. Enough lounge chairs for everyone, fresh towels without much hassle, great water to swim in and free sailboats and paddle boards. Most of all, however, was the terrific staff. Everyone was legitimately friendly and helpful, they really wanted you to enjoy yourself. The food was quite good and not unreasonably priced (its not cheap but this is where resorts make their money). The hotel felt very secluded but a close drive to a supermarket or lots of good restaurants. We absolutely want to come back.

We had a lovely time at The Landings this month! We stayed for a week on the property. The hotel is very strict about adhering to COVID safety protocols, so if you aren't vaccinated or don't want to wear a mask this probably isn't the place for you. We personally felt it made our trip better — the staff was incredibly careful about masks, sanitizer, etc. The suite was beautiful and LARGE. The staff is incredibly courteous and helpful... Che at the front desk was particularly thoughtful. The food is very good and well-cooked, seasoned, etc. though I do wish there were more menu/restaurant options (though I understand limitations during COVID). Highly recommend the inclusive meal plan for convenience. We would love to return to The Landings!

Beautiful property with the best suites We have stayed in. Spotlessly clean. No bugs other than mosquitos. Good beach with great selection of water sports.staff amazing. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment marina view. No where is far away to walk.

Top tip is go all inclusive as food is pricey otherwise. It’s not ultra all inc but most things are covered

Calaloo beach bar for lunch perfect. Palms restaurant at dinner , food good but sit outside as otherwise no atmosphere. Buffet at beach restaurant pretty good as far as buffets go.

Entertainment pretty light and bar area small with few seats possibly due to Covid.

Water sports good and even motorised ones are reasonably priced at 10USD pp for a go on banana boat and sofa etc.

Very good on Covid measures.

Be warned kids under 18 with one vaccine dose from uk need to quarantine until results back from pcr test but during that time you can order room service and are not charged for it (if all inc). Our results were back in about 16 hours so no problem.

I had a couple of good massages at spa and all the staff throughout were great.

Overall great for people who like good standard of accommodation looking for a beach holiday. Beach is great for adults and kids alike.

Don’t come here for evening entertainment. Bring a pack of cards

My family members were unanimous in declaring our stay at The Landings as one of our best family vacations ever. I was actually proud to show off and spoil them at this amazing resort. The Landings is a cut above most resorts I have stayed at in the Caribbean. From the moment you arrive, you feel as if everything will be taken care of over the next week. The rooms are spotless and well-appointed. The beach is beautiful as are the various pools scattered among the gardens throughout the property. Security is present but not intrusive, leaving one feeling safe and relaxed. The food was very good especially the local Lucian and Créole fare. The staff is friendly and thoroughly professional and always seems to anticipate your needs. On the rare occasion of a hiccup, there was always someone on back-up ready to resolve the situation. A wonderful week!

Amazing rooms , awesome setting and very very chilled .
This to me was one of the most relaxing holidays I've ever had and this was mainly due to the resort being very quiet and only being 30-40% occupancy.
Due to low occupancy there were restricted dining choice but discussed this with General manager and suggested maybe this needs to be highlighted in Hotels profile regarding quieter months .
I won't individually name any of the staff as it would be unfair as All were very welcoming and did a terrific job . I spoke to everyone I met including the staff doing gardening beautifully , the cleaners and turn around Girls so it would be unjust to name , so will say Bravo to them all.
However my only concern was I wasn't able to Tip everyone and raised this and other constructive ideas with the General manager .
Disappointingly Please be aware , as I wasn't , that even with the All inclusive package I had there was a hidden 10% service charge included in my price . if I had been aware of this I would never have considered Tipping in the first place.
Lesson learned for sure but please believe me this is a great vacation venue. Will return in future but with possibly room only or B&B choice in which case the Fab may have ulous included.

Hello, I would recommend beach shoes as the sand does get very hot. The beach has a small shelf at entry but good for kids. Further out, but within the cordoned of area, there are a very few slightly rocky bits along with a little bit of kelp/seaweed. Hope you have a fabulous holiday. There were a number of lovely families with youngsters who enjoyed the beach and resort. W thought it was terrific and will return ! Kind regards. Mike and Debs

Hello - although we went out of the High season -not a lot to do atThe Landings Resort - only the usual 5 star restaurant & bar. The was no live music or singing evenings whilst we were there. However a short drive into town by taxi or car there is plenty of choice of restaurant, bars and clubs. Would like to add The Landings is a fabulous venue for a quiet relaxing holiday - would certainly recommend.
