As soon as you arrive at UTLT, and walk through the expansive garden, filled with scented flowers and lush trees and look out over the glorious French countryside you are imbued with a sense of calm and ease. Nikki is the perfect host and has put her heart and soul into this beautiful and very special space. Whether you are simply looking for a spa day, or staying in her beautifully appointed accommodation you are sure of a memorable experience. We stayed in the Gite, with its own entrance, it’s a generous room with en-suite bathroom and compact kitchen. Spotlessly clean and completely quiet. Nikki’s food is fantastic - even for non veggies or vegans! A lot of the vegetables are sourced from her own kitchen garden. The courgette cake was a particular favourite. But along with the delicious healthy salads we enjoyed indulgent cheeses and wine ! Life is about balance after all. We also booked a spa day. The hot tub (with no nasty chemicals) perched on the edge of the terrace looks out over fields and forest. You are then treated to a choice of therapies - we had the hot stone massage. Nikki’s experience and intuitive touch was one of the best massage experiences I have had - I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Easy to reach from Bordeaux and Limoges, you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We can’t wait to return.

A beautiful and soulful experience in the gorgeous French countryside. We enjoyed the most colorful, flavorful vegetarian lunch al fresco followed by a soak in the hot tub. We were provided with a gorgeous, rustic changing room. Nikki gave us an amazing hot stones massage that was both healing and relaxing. We left feeling rejuvenated and inspired after so many wonderful conversations! We're going back for a veggie cookery course. Cannot say enough great things about Under the Lime Tree!

Under the Lime Tree is a wonderful place with incredible food, super attentive hosts and the worlds best masseuse! From the moment we arrived, Nikki and Sean made us feel right at home. The views are just stunning, whether that’s from the hot tub or actually walking through the grounds. We left feeling so rejuvenated and relaxed. I would certainly recommend a trip to Under The Lime Tree. We are already thinking about our return!

Thanks so much for your lovely review Mill. It was a real pleasure to spend time with you and your Sis. It was great to see you soaking up everything UTLT has to offer - the food, the massages, the walks through the woods & to the river, and importantly, doing nothing at all and just swinging in the hammocks! We're already looking forward to your return! Be well Nikki & Sean xx

A truly delightful and restful long weekend escape spent at Under The Lime Tree! Nikki was wonderful, a kind and attentive hostess, wonderful cook, and patient instructor for our evening DIY dinner. My daughter and I also had a fabulous massage each, and we enjoyed the wonderful views over the valley from the hot tub and garden. Our cosy accomodation was perfect too. This is a special place and I would recommend wholeheartedly.
