My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with friends who occupied the other bedroom. Both bedrooms are spacious and have queen sized beds, 2 comfortable bedroom chairs and their own ensuite. Our bedroom also had a single bed in a separate room to the side. We found everything to be clean and comfortable and quiet (once the wharf...

I'm glad we stayed here because it had everything we needed. It's about 15 minute walk to the town itself, but just down some steps to the wharf. The wharf has everything you could want. A decent restaurant, excellent chippy. The room here was lovely and quiet with great views from the shared lounge. I didn't mind the water tower....

Journey's End is a bed and breakfast in the lower floor of the owner's house. It's clean, modern, quiet and spacious. Barry and his dog greeted us as we pulled up and we were treated to an unexpected, tasty and greatly appreciated seafood chowder for dinner! We sat and chatted for a while over a glass of wine and had...

Barry's a nice old gent and will happily keep you talking about his beloved country! He lets you just relax and get on with it, though he's just upstairs, with Sir Barnie Grump (the dog) if you need anything! The apartment was perfectly clean, with decent facilities. It has a large living area, which you could have to yourself if...

Our hosts at the Paeroa BnB booked this for us. They just did a google search and found Journeys End so we phoned and booked. Barry (the owner) is just lovely. (he likes a chat) The accommodation was superb and the views were fabulous. Raglan is a small seaside village so its not far to walk to the township from...

We just stayed here for one night and it was fine. Despite the concrete tower the view is still very good and the place has a nice homely feel and has all the amenties you'd want including a great selection of DVDs to watch (not that we had time to). Barry was welcoming and friendly. We had the whole place...

stayed in Raglan for a few days at Journey's End. We had sole use of the apartment below Barry's house. Two bedrooms each with their own lock. Tea/coffee facilities, fridge, cooker etc. Spacious and decked area outside. We didnt mind the water tower view as we were out and about in Raglan - some lovely restaurants. Cooked breakfast from Barry...
