I spent several nights at Raglan Farmstay to give me a relaxing break away from by business in Auckland. Was only a few nights but left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. Most of the time I had the farmhouse totally to myself including the spa pool. Close to all the sights around Raglan and Raglan township. The host Chris is...

Our 1st night of travelling around New Zealand started here. First impression was this place looks average. We walked in after being greeted by a staff member and immediately changed our minds. This place a comfy, quiet and cozy.......and we had it all to ourselves.... A hot tub on the rear decking with views across the inlet and native bush....

Of the 8 places that my wife and I stayed in New Zealand, this was the weirdest but we had a great couple nights staying in the main farmhouse. Once a farmhouse overlooking a cove on a working farm, the home has a lot of classic charm and character as well as a terrific hot tub, good free wifi, well...

I personally really liked the aesthetic and the actual buildings, surrounds, amenities etc and had a great night's sleep. However, the problem of this place is in the management. First, we were told when we turned up that we had to pay extra for an extra person we brought, which was sort of fair, but not what we had agreed...

Hi Tom, Thanks for your review and sorry you weren’t completely happy with your stay. Lets just clarify first the total for your group which was paid for prior to arrival. Kate paid $900 for the 2 nights stay for up to 9 people as discussed and confirmed via email. This is a very reasonable and standard group rate of...

Visited for 3 days. I had a cabin to myself and use of the Barn for cooking etc. The owner was pleasant and helpful, I got the impression that you were a little bit of an outsider unless you were staying in the farmhouse, which incidentally, looked nice. Everything in my cabin was great and the bathroom was clean. Only...

We liked this place so much we came back and used it for our Wedding reception!!!... The large deck with views of the entire mountain and tidal estuary made a great platform for our band to play and our crowd to mingle.. Chris had set up an outside bar with fridges, the whole place got decorated.. we used the barn...

My partner and I unfortunately only had one night's stay at the Raglan Farmstay, but it is amazing to think about what a memorable impression this place made on us both in such a short time. Chris, the host, was so warm, welcoming and helpful. There was the option of joining him and the others in the shared common room...

Hi, my partner and I were travelling all over Oz and NZ for 5 weeks. We were here 4 nights & thoroughly enjoyed the place, the location, fab views and the wonderfully laid back host, Chris, not forgetting others like Ella and James. It is a quirky, unusual place. We stayed in the main farmhouse and the master bedroom is...
