Old hotel with long history. Creative rooms decorated by artists. Clean rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Located above a nice Irish pub and next to a great, Anatolia Restaurant.

Wonderfully located right in the centre of the beautiful Morat old town, Hotel Adler is comfortable and quiet. The welcome was warm and I was offered special help in relation to a sporting event I was attending. I will not hesitate to book here again in a years time.

The rooms are quite cute! They are painted with various themes. Each room has a manic surprise in the form of a mini kitchen complete with plates. I thought this was also a nice touch. The only bad thing is that this place has paper thin walls so that you can hear your neighbor extremely well and vice versa. No... More

The hotel is above an Irish pub on the main street in Murten. The location is amazing, and it is right in the middle of the old town. Check-in was a bit slow as we arrived at a very busy time in the afternoon and the pub was packed. But, after reading some of the previous posts, I knew this... More

This is an amazing hotel. So very old. A real taste of history with great names such as Goethe and Casanova having rested here. It is positioned perfectly within the walled town and so close to the lake and concert venue. No parking but they have an agreement with Seepark about 1 km away. Certainly a hotel if you love... Hotel Adler was a charming old hotel above a Irish Tavern. They do not have a "tradition" front desk reception but I found the wait staff helpfull. I received a upgrade on my single room to a spacious double room with a small kitchonette in it. I loved being in the heart of the town. My room was nicely decorated... More

The Hotel Adler sits above the Old Irish Tavern within the old city walls of Murten. That makes it very convenient to all of the stores and restaurants in the old town and just a short walk downhill to the lake. The owner and operator, Marie-Lou, is very friendly and helpful. However, there is no front desk that one can... More

I really enjoyed this hotel. The room itself is very small, but nicely decorated. It's a little stuffy, with only one small window. If it would have been extremely hot I may have been uncomfortable. What was fun was the location right in the center of the main street in historic Murten, and directly above a fun tavern. We didn't... More

“Ask for the wireless code upon arrival. You may need to ask about the Seepark agreement for parking. Room servicing is not great. We had to ask them to do it.”
