We’ve been to Cuba (pretty much all over) fifteen times and this was our first stay at Brisas Guardalavaca. It was truly a great week! The resort has two distinct sections. One is the main hotel (231 rooms), which is the houses the lobby and buffet restaurant. It’s the centre as far as most activities are concerned and here many... More

We booked a villa and were put in a villa with an ocean front. One cannot see the ocean because the palms hide it, but the room was the biggest one yet (bigger than the suites of GBP or Iberostar; see pics). It was cleaned to perfection by Nuria. We arrived after 10pm. The check in was a breeze, but... More

My boyfriend and I traveled to Cuba in early September 2016, I'm just now writing this as school has finally wound down. We loved Brisas. Personally having never left Toronto before this I was blown away at the sheer paradise. The staff were friendly and helpful, our Sunwing rep was incredibly accomidating, we received a room change and some minor... More

Looking forward to Holiday, after a difficult couple months. Checkin was swift, room was large/clean good. NOT so good, no warm water, room was dark due to forest otherside of balcony, but main issue was trying to enter/leave room using keycard could not open door, and door did not lock. But thanks to Theresa on reception bless her, we were... More

Another wonderful stay at Brisas visited 7-22nd November. Weather quite cloudy for our first week and some rain but it was still warm. Lovely to meet up again with "old friends" at this family friendly resort. Lots of new furniture has been bought since our visit in May. New sunbeds by the villa pool (The old orange/yellow/blue ones are now... More

The staff and resort were better than we expected. Our room was wonderful with a perfect view. The resort was laid out nicely that there was never a long walk where we wanted to go. The snorkelling from the beach has been the best I've ever enjoyed.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Large property, you need a road map! Be sure to bring a little flashlight to find your room in the evening. They had a great breakfast buffet, the dinner arrangement was strange, you had to call in for a reservation at 930 and if you approached a restaurant on the premise in the evening and... More

Been coming here for the last 5 years and never had a bad experience! We can see the massive improvements the hotel are doing. ie. The new furniture and the hotel room refurbishments! Of course of which some people complained about! (didn't complain when upgraded to the Villas for free) You know who you are lol!😄 The staff are as... More

We got a cheap deal on this holiday and were quite happy with what we got for the money. Had we paid full price, we might have felt differently about it. The hotel is a little run down and dated and there were some very slight issues with cleanliness here and there. The food was not the most amazing, even... More
