Ikos Dassia has garnered praise for its extensive amenities and stunning beachfront location, which have greatly enhanced the guest experience. The staff's professionalism and warmth alongside the hotel's spotless cleanliness are consistently celebrated by reviewers. While the lively atmosphere and entertainment are a hit, some guests have found certain areas lacking vibrancy. Room experiences vary, with some guests enjoying the spaciousness and views, yet others mention noise issues and room sizes not meeting expectations. The hotel's value is a point of contention, with opinions divided on the cost-to-experience ratio.

This was our third Ikos resort visit and whilst the staff are all very pleasant, the standards are not as high as the other resorts, plus the bedrooms here are much smaller. Double rooms in the the other 2 resorts, measured 32sq m, whilst here, they are a disappointing 23 sq m. My fault for not checking the small print I guess.
This resort is huge. It boasts 8 bars and at least half a dozen swimming pools, as well as easy access to a lovely beach. Needless to say, sun beds are not an issue here. What is a problem, is having sufficient staff to cope with demand. The main sky pool provides food and drink all day and servers like Kassi work tirelessly all day. The problem is that when Kassi has her day off, they don’t appear to replace her with another member of staff. The same can be said of the sky bar area, where the excellent Christina is constantly on the go. Remove her for the day and the service falls considerably. In both areas, without these girls, we were waiting for up to half an hour to be served.
The view from the beach and rooms facing the sea, is wonderful. Crystal clear blue waters and boats bobbing on top, create a very serene atmosphere.
There are 8 specialised restaurants, which are excellent and a buffet restaurant “flavours” which is poor in comparison. The most popular, are the grill house and the Asian “Anaya” for the specialised restaurants, you have to make a booking. The problem is that these places get booked up very quickly, so you need to download the app and book as quickly as possible, otherwise your left with slots around 9.30pm. If possible, book before you depart for your holiday.
Entertainment isn’t great, but the “white party” on the beach is popular. The hotel offers a shuttle service into Corfu every half an hour and this lovely town is well worth a visit. Be aware that the shuttle service shuts down from 2.30pm to 6pm, so make sure you don’t get unnecessarily stranded. There is a shop within the resort, but everything is roughly double the price of what it costs in the supermarket over the road.
Whilst this is an excellent resort, with some superb staff, it suffers from being “too big” and not staffed sufficiently

We stayed here for a week early September.

Check in
Upon arrival we got a lovely cold towel and some fizz. As we arrived just after some other people we had to wait around 20 minutes to get checked in . The lady that did check us in was lovely however we thought the whole check in speech was rather drawn out and protracted all in all we were in the lobby for nearly an hour when all we really wanted to go was freshen up and relax after a long day travelling.

Room
Our room was spotless and was pleased with the location (room 2526) in the sky building had a view of the adults only pool and side sea view. Was really glad of this room as only booked a basic room and some of them overlook a busy road.
We did feel the room closets smelt very damp and ventilation wasn’t great so the floors were often soaking wet.

Pools
We spent most of our time at the main sky pool , Dhilara (sorry maybe wrong spelling?) was amazing and looked after us so well as did all the other servers at this pool. Drinks and food selection to your beds were great.

Food
The 3 al la carte restaurants we tried were all lovely our favourite two being the grill and the Asian. We did book these 3 upfront on the app but did forgot to book the rest on arrival so unfortunately we couldn’t get into the others. This meant we ate at the buffet 4 times and I feel this did let the hotel down a bit as the selection wasn’t as large as we are used to in other high end AI and some of the food wasn’t great.

Drinks
Selection was okay some great cocktails and service at all the bars etc was always prompt.

Entertainment
We went to the theatre shows in the evenings which were high quality but all quite similar so some different acts would be good.

After the shows there wasn’t much else on so found the evenings rather boring and we usually went to bed by 11.15.

Checkout
We wasn’t leaving until 7pm there was no option for a late checkout other than an extra hour in your room although other people we met were allowed to keep these although leaving at the same sort of time so not sure how they pick and choose that. We were given use of a courtesy room for 45 mins in the spa and were told our luggage would be there for the allocated time however we had to chase our luggage being delivered and in the end by the time we had it , we were left with about 20 mins to use it.
At reception when we checked out was rather bizarre. we were told there was a charge for using the phone (which we never used ) the charge wasn’t said straight away so protested that we had never used the phone but were basically told we were wrong , in the end we asked how much this charge was as we didn’t want to stand there and argue to be told it was 10cents !!! a high end hotel even charging 10 cents is almost laughable of course at that stage we just paid the small charge to be done with it.

All in all a good stay but some room for improvement in certain areas.

I can’t recommend Ikos Dassia enough. It is a lovely resort in a stunningly beautiful location. My husband and I had a wonderful week here at the end of May. Everything about this resort was perfect. Arriving at Corfu airport we were immediately greeted by a very nice driver who greeted us, loaded our cases in a very comfortable car drove us to the resort. Reception was very warm and our check in process was friendly relaxed and efficient. Once we were shown to our room I immediately knew this trip was going to be good. Although it was a standard room and not one of the resorts more expensive luxury rooms, everything we had requested was provided. A spectacular uninterrupted view of the gorgeous bay and a bath. The room was very well designed, fresh and spotlessly clean. The bed, the sheets and the pillows were all top quality and with an extremely well stocked mini bar as part of the all inclusive price we were very impressed. We had no trouble finding sunbeds on the beach in prime spots at the waters edge. The pools also had a wide choice of available sunbeds. No getting down to the pool before breakfast to bag a bed necessary. We had downloaded the Ikos app and had chosen and booked our restaurants for dinner before we came. This worked extremely well. Breakfast and lunch was more spontaneous. Ouzo a delightful Greek taverna on the beach was our favourite breakfast place. In the mornings it was just beautiful, the food fresh and delicious and the staff were so welcoming and friendly whilst being completely on the ball. For lunch we ate at different restaurants every day, Kerkyra was a favourite because it was so open and airy. The staff were so nice it was a pleasure to eat there. They sourced our favourite wine, recognised us by name after just one visit. A beautiful place to have a relaxing lunch and dinner. Our evening dinners were fantastic at every restaurant we tried. Provence was my favourite, the French onion soup was delicious and our wonderful concierge made sure they had our favourite wine. My husband’s favourite restaurant was Anaya which had very good Thai food. But every meal at every restaurant was superb. I am amazed they can offer such quality in an all inclusive resort.
I can’t wait to go back to Ikos Dassia again in June next year. This time we are taking our whole family, our grown up children and their partners and our grand children. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our holiday so special.

Nestled by the sea, Ikos Dassia garners widespread acclaim for its breathtaking location and comprehensive amenities that cater to both relaxation and family fun. While opinions on room quality vary, with some guests finding certain rooms less impressive, the spotless cleanliness throughout the hotel is consistently celebrated.

The staff's exceptional service contributes to the serene and stylish atmosphere, often highlighted by reviewers. Although it may come with a higher price tag, many guests believe the value is evident in the inclusive offerings and meticulous attention to detail.

First of all the positives Ikos Dassia is blessed with beautiful views of the islands and this is truly outstanding. The second Deluxe one bedroom bungalow we had was beautiful and had lovely views of the pools. The restaurants are all of a good standard. Staff were mostly all very polite service levels in some areas better than others. Cleaners were excellent and cleaning was always being carried out. Room Service again excellent. Lactose Free Milk and Gluten Free Bread available too which was great for me. The spa is beautiful and treatments amazing. The sunset cruise very good although the wine served was awful and no drinks or water for the children or those not drinking alchohol. The dinner on the beach again was beautiful. The children did paragliding and used the pedalos which they loved. We visited Ikos Odisia which was beautiful also and we used the facilities there which were lovely.
We had quite a few negatives unfortunatley which were very dissapointing especially on arrival some were room related things missing location of our room wasn't great also as Deluxe but put in a bungalow under a restaurant that was very noisy and overlooked also constant machinery noise and a smell ?? We paid a lot of money for this holiday and I was quite shocked to be honest and felt this was not a Deluxe room. The welcome meeting could have been better we were not told where to eat as late arrivals and as Dassia is large and basically two hotels we were not explained as to where to eat the next morning etc. A lot of the furniture is looking old and stained we found which for a 5 star hotel I totally do not expect We were lucky we were Deluxe as the main beach pool we tried one day the service was non existent towels dirty loungers dirty so really not great. The lift never worked for the whole two weeks from the pool which with my mobility issues was not great. The food in a few areas was served barely warm glasses stained also at times cups dirty at times and I did get very ill with either food poisoning/virus ?? which ruined a couple of days of my holiday which has never happened before and was very distressing. Katerina the manager was very helpful and went out of her way to try and rectify these issues by sending flowers arranging extra spa treatments and organising special birthday meals etc also upgraded my daughter to a two bedroom bungalow the second week whilst we moved to my daughters bungalow because of our noise issues just unfortunate it took a whole week for this to happen. I must say the special meals and treats were lovely and we were grateful for your help and kindness Katerina after being Ikos loyal guests. Personally for me Dassia is not an Ikos I would return to after visiting both Oceania and Olivia in the past. I did feel it was not quite the perfection or standard for me as a five star resort. We are booked again for Ikos Olivia and Ikos Aria next year and hoping all areas will be perfect. The Ikos brand is unique in that we come to expect a certain level for the price we pay which I felt never hit the mark this holiday for the cost we paid out.

When we went to Dassia, we already had excellent experiences with this hotels, and we were hoping for even more, because it is supposedly their flagship resort. And it was really........ ALMOST great.
The resort has excellent infrastructure, consists of two main buildings and bungalows, beautifully located, surrounded by greenery, a sandy and pebble beach (unfortunately, there were fights over sunbeds!!!!), clean water, several swimming pools, restaurants - as many as 8, bars, great cuisine, sports section (several different pitches), Tesla for rent, and above all, despite full occupancy, plenty of free space and no unpleasant crowding. The rooms were not very large, but comfortable. You could order a meal to your room at any time, the minibar was always full. Perfect cleanliness on the resort premises. Unfortunately, compared to last year, the hotel service turned out to be very variable in quality. Apart from the impression of too few employees (savings?), there were times when we (and not only us) simply felt ignored by the resort staff. But maybe it was because they were overworked? When we came to a dinner at an a la carte restaurant, which unfortunately was only scheduled for 9:00 or 9:30 p.m., after 10:00 p.m. in several of them we were left alone, with an unpleasant feeling of being completely ignored, additionally being exposed to the sight of people bustling around with mops and loudly moving tables for morning breakfast. And yet it was supposed to be something festive. A weak e-concierge, which was the pride of Ikos Oceania, reacting with a great delay or not at all. On top of all this, the quality management employees turned out to be quite pushy, coming to us in various places and at the most inconvenient times wanting to talk about our comments, which we reported in email surveys. The icing on the cake was the room service, which approached its duties absurdly. In the rooms there were clouds of dust under the beds, we had to ask for soap and toilet paper. To make matters worse, in their overzealousness, most probably in a hurry, the cleaning ladies threw out plastic bags of shopping (souvenirs, gifts) in 2 out of 4 occupied rooms!!!! What good is it that the hotel finally decided to return those few dozen Euros to us...it left an unpleasant memory.

Successful family celebrations
Our family spent a nice holiday in October 2024 at Ikos Dassia! The property is just beautiful, very well maintained and offers a great atmosphere. We originally booked a 3 bedroom beachfront pool villa, but were upgraded to a 4 bedroom villa on the second day – a very nice surprise! Highlights: The whole facility is a dream, and the staff is exceptional – everyone is friendly and helpful. We would particularly like to highlight Mr. George Mavromatis, who was available to us around the clock and made all wishes possible. The Tesla excursion that was included in our package was a lot of fun for us and was a truly unique experience. Also the spa area is excellent; my wife was absolutely thrilled and even joked that she would like to move in there! The Russian spa manager ensures that everything there is at the highest level. Cuisine: We liked the restaurants in part and less, with staff maintaining the highest standards of service everywhere. The dishes in the Greek, Italian and French restaurants did not quite convince us, but the Asian restaurant was very good. The Beach Deluxe Collection menu is heavily geared to English tastes and includes many deep-fried options. The wine list is extensive, but really outstanding wines are missing. Overall impression: The Ikos Dassia offers one of the best all-inclusive experiences in the Mediterranean, albeit at a premium price. The excellent service, the beautiful location and the special extras make it a unique place for a family holiday. Thank you, Ikos Dassia, for a nice holiday!

We were recommended Ikos by friends and it was just super.
We chose Dassia as in October the weather in Corfu is warmer than Halkidiki and we love a little sun before winter sets in at home. We love Greece.
Corfu Town is lovely and the free shuttle only takes about 20 minutes so easy to get to to shop and eat.

It did not disappoint. We had 7 nights in a promo room with an excellent view and it was brilliant value. This was a sort of added extra holiday booked quite late but the room was was lovely with a stunning view. We stayed in the Sky building which we preferred as it was quieter. The balcony was large and sunny.

The food - brilliant in all the a la cartes except the Grill. The steak was less than great. The other restaurants were excellent. We used the buffet once to try it and it was really good in terms of food and choice and quality but noisy and not really for us.
With so much choice it is easy to eat elsewhere.

Everywhere was well kept. The beach pristine. The local tavernas at the end of the beach were quite traditional and made a nice change of view point and atmosphere if you wanted to get out of the beautiful immaculate grounds.

We did not use the entertainment in the theatre but in the evening there was live music in the bars and the staff were entertaining in themselves. The beach side staff were amazing and the service throughout was great.

We did not pay for Deluxe or even a suite and we did not need either. There were enough adult only areas for us to enjoy and it was out of school holidays so not too many children.

As an all inclusive holiday in Greece I don't think you could do better. We have booked for early October again in a similar room and it is excellent value for money.

Tips - book your 3 restaurants in advance and book your car hire and eat out in advance if you can. The sunset cruise was booked up so will book that in advance as well this time.

I am not sure it is worth the deluxe extra money and I would sooner spend that somewhere else but if it is for a special occasion then perhaps it would be worth it. We prefer to do our main holidays further afield and so we prefer to use the money for that.

Visited with my parents, partner and 6 year old child in October.
We have previously stayed at Ikos Olivia so we knew what was going to be in store for us in terms of service and quality.
From the moment we arrived, we didn’t need to lift a finger and nothing was too much for any of the staff.

We ate in all of the restaurants while there and they were all great, I would say that it’s down to personal preference as to which restaurants are best. The food, drinks and service in all of them were incredible, all of the waiters and waitresses were so friendly and knowledgeable. They would often make recommendations from the wine menu too depending on what food we were ordering which was a nice touch.
With regard to the restaurants, I would say you need to book 3 on the app before you arrive and the rest upon arrival if you want a chance to eat in all of them.

The drinks throughout the hotel are all of a high quality too. We didn’t have a single poor cocktail or wine and we tried a fair few to say the least.

The service is what sets Ikos resorts apart… we never had to leave our sun loungers for a drink or walk to a bar in the evenings. The wait staff would immediately notice if you were due a drink and they would appear in a flash. It got to the point where some of the team even started to remember our orders depending on what time of the day it was.

The beach is spotless too and the service here is the same as throughout the resort. Also included are the kayaks and peddle boats which are great due to the sea being so calm.

The only minor feedback I have on this resort as a whole is that the rooms aren’t as spacious as I feel they should be and the size of them certainly doesn’t match the price you pay. That being said, they have everything you need and you are rarely in them but compared to the Olivia, they are tiny.

This was our third visit to an Ikos resort having stayed at Aria the previous year and Oceania the year before that. We had a lovely warm welcome from staff and a comprehensive overview of everything from our concierge Sofia, who provided a fantastic service throughout our stay.

Everything is quite superb at Dassia from the décor to the rooms, the facilities, the food, the drinks and of course the service of the staff who make it all happen. The activities were fab such as the wine tasting. The olive oil tasting was also great; however, it was disappointing to only have one olive oil to try with nothing to compare it to. It was a nice experience, nonetheless.

The staff at the Deluxe pool were very attentive, a stark contrast from the Deluxe beach area where they seemed to lack enough staff to provide the service we’d anticipated. The manager of the area did apologise for our negative experience. Maybe there’s an issue with beach service because whilst the dinner on the beach experience was pleasant, the service was very slow and by the time we were served our main course we could barely see it as the sun had gone down. We also almost missed the white party that happens once per week.

I had a negative experience in one of the bar areas due to being chastised by a member of staff for eating cake in there. I didn’t see any signs saying no food/eating. She had given me the courtesy of letting me finish eating before informing me that they didn’t want children eating and making a mess. Did I look like a child? Was I eating like a child? I don’t think I dropped a crumb, so I was confused but didn’t allow the experience to impact my afternoon (it was excellent cake!). Contrastingly a member of the kitchen staff had gone above and beyond to provide me with the cake, and so overall, the staff demonstrated amazing customer service.

There is a shuttle bus that takes you into Corfu town. However, make sure to get on the one for Dassia and not Ikos Odisia because even though they pass the hotel, they won’t stop at the other, as we learned the hard way when there was a torrential downpour and the bus we were supposed to catch was full.

The evening entertainment is fantastic, and the resort has so much to offer throughout the day, as well as an amazing spa where we experienced a wonderful massage.

In summary, this is a wonderful resort and despite the few niggles, we would stay again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend.
