Thank you for a lovely stay at the resort it was a fantastic family holiday and we appreciate the time and work you and the staff go to in providing this experience. Denisa Luca and Anastasia were excellent and I’d like to extend that thanks to them directly. On the whole it was amazing we had an absolutely fantastic 2 bedroom villa. The beach, the resort, the food and drinks were all on par with London standards. Just a few points to note were on the service side that at time it was a touch stretched in some restaurants; the cracks in some tables eg the steakhouse had food in them and the white dress code is lovely, but nearly all of the staff had filthy shoes. Nothing major just small details I think would be nice to be addressed into next season. We certainly will be back.

This was our 2nd visit to Dassia and our 9th IKOS holiday. We love Dassia so much that this time we treated our children and their partners so it was a truly memorable stay. We were greeted by Anastasia Sukretna who looked after us so well last year and she was such a pleasure to be around and treated us so so well. We also need to mention Anastasios and Iro from the wine bar. They both are an absolute credit to the IKOS brand, they go above and beyond every time we see them and both deserve a massive THANK YOU from our family. The wine tasting experience was a delight and the supply of wine at dinner was always on point. Thank you both so much - and we hope you are having a well deserved rest as we will be back in May 2024 to see you again. All of the food in the restaurants was excellent and what makes this hotel is the staff. All the attentive staff at the pool, the beach, the restaurants make this place special. Also a mention to Jo and her partner who we met in Aria and we believe is moving onto new adventures we wish you both well. We cannot wait to return next year - we have already booked for two visits in 2024 we love it so much. Thank you again for a super holiday experience.

Regular but never again! We have 2 children aged 5 and under and have visited the Ikos 8-9 times. 3 times in 2023 in all different locations, always deluxe. Always had a beautiful time, gorgeous landscapes, clean modern hotel rooms, fantastic kids club and services… while the going is good. I always think the character of a place is how they handle situations when things go wrong. I had 2 sick children, both visits to the in-house doctor. My one year old on antibiotics for the first time in her life so scary stuff. It was the last week of half term so they were moving everyone from building one to building two. The hotel kindly upgraded us in order to move us, fine, lovely. Was told checkout at 11am and room ready for 1pm so we had breakfast and went to the beach. Came back at 1pm to collect the keys but was greeted by rudeness and gaslit by Stellios who basically accused me of lying about key collection time. Was told it would be 2pm then 3pm. My children were sick and my 1 year old needed a cot to sleep in. Stellios had no empathy and refused to call house cleaning he simply explained to me like I was stupid that the cleaners were busy cleaning over 1000 rooms. It wasn’t me that asked for the upgrade or lied about the time?! At 4pm I was seriously complaining and so was finally put in our new room some 5 hours later. The floors were still wet which showed me that Stellios had not bothered to call nor was there any urgency. 5 hours no room with 2 sick children in the sun. By Day 2 we asked for either late checkout or to pay an extra day as we had a late flight and 2 sick children. Was constantly gaslit that they won’t know availability until the day before. I told them if it’s a no just be open so we can book another hotel to chill in for the final day but complete lack of communication despite being deluxe with own consierge service. Was finally given a tiny room for 2 people as a family of 4. Looked online and it was cheaper than the day rate charged. Just so unprofessional for our 9th visit. I did complain to the manager and he kindly didn’t charge us for that day and told us we had the room as long as needed. Fine if that was the end of the story I wouldn’t be writing this review. Flight was at 11pm, the baby took a funny turn right before boarding, it was the scariest thing that I have ever been through, she was delirious I thought she had gone blind! Jet2 staff were amazing and we had to off board, miss the flight and visit the airports dr. Baby had congestion on her lungs as well as some other things going on. By this time it’s 1am, no problem we still have our room at the hotel or so we thought. Called the hotel to check and lo and behold a passive aggressive Stellios advised we could have our £470 room for 1500 euros! I was disgusted absolutely speechless how we can be treated like this, had to pay again for transfers. No courtesy or consideration by the hotel at all. When we went back to our room it hadn’t been touched or cleaned yet we’re getting recharged!? Needless to say I’m currently sat in the 4 seasons which believe it or not is a price match but cannot compare the customer service. Ikos have lost loyal regulars and I am not the only family I know who think they have gone down hill.

Having twice visited Ikos Oceania pre-pandemic, we were so looking forward to our stay at Dassia, and had pushed the boat out to go Deluxe (we had been given a complimentary upgrade for the last few days of our first stay at Ocenia and had been wowed by the Deluxe extras). Unfortunately, we ended up disappointed with our week at Dassia, and in particular the underwhelming Deluxe experience. Upon arrival we were checked in by our concierge who told us that although it was still early afternoon our room was ready. We had booked a Deluxe Bungalow and when we were shown to it we were chuffed that it was on the front row so had a great view to the sea. We had really been looking forward to our Tattinger-on-ice whilst we unpacked, but it was nowhere to be seen. Nor were the other welcome touches we had requested be placed in the room (drinks, decaff coffee pods, milk, etc.), or extras like the beach bag. Never mind I thought, just WhatsApp the concierge and it would be sorted... We also found the mini-bar door to be hanging off its hinges and the wardrobe door would not shut. This too was raised via WhatsApp and was attended to promptly by the Maintenance chaps. Unfortunately, our champagne didn't arrive till we were ready to leave for the wine tasting and whilst this might sound petty, it was one of the Deluxe perks we were really looking forward to after a day of travelling and no sleep. We had a quick sit down in the bungalow's covered patio, but one of the two sunbeds was broken, and remained so for the full week. All in all, not a very 'Ikos' style first impression... Our concierge, whilst pleasant, was very absent minded throughout the holiday, and had to be chased for any request we made, including the 'farewell' gift (and we barely used the service compared to some others and were always ultra-polite; perhaps too much as it seems those who complain seem to get treated better...). We did provide feedback at the time but tried not to make a fuss as we wanted to enjoy the moment as best we could. We had read on the FB forum beforehand that the Deluxe pool area was not especially attractive, but we hadn't anticipated the awful service. I hate even writing this as it reeks of 1st world problems, but when you pay a lot of money for what is being voted one of the best hotels in the world, you don't expect to have to get your own towels and drinks whilst the staff natter amongst themselves. Our experience of the Oceania Deluxe pool was the polar opposite which made Dassia look even worse. The service at the Deluxe beach was infinitely better, and the staff there really took pride in the service they gave to guests; always cheerful, smiling and doing everything they could to make the guests happy. We used virtually all of the a la cartes and the food and service were generally excellent, but our favourite was probably Provence. And we share all the positive sentiments about Anostosius and the wine tasting event; he's a lovely guy and goes out of his way to make guests feel valued. All in all we were left underwhelmed by Dassia. It was a great holiday but the gloss was taken off it with the poor Deluxe experience and the indifferent concierge service. We are booked to visit Ikos Andalusia in Sep 2024 (non-deluxe) and hope that Dassia proves to be a one-off disappointment.

Wow wow wow Stunning location, appreciated each morning sitting on the beach looking at the stunning view. The beach was calm the sea shimmering surreal. The room Just wow. thank you so much Christina after all changes we had we didn't think we would make it for Dale's 50th after being cancelled, rebooking having to change all sorts but we stayed in touch throughout to the lead up and was greeted by the amazing friendly staff who made us so welcome. The white party wow, it went too quickly but was amazing. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality throughout and apologies for the nightly order of cheesy chips with houmous! Shockingly divas after a few amazing cocktails which we did work our way through! Restaurants food stunning, Notos wine I'm so missing! It was super hot and was great to see staff being taken care of in the heat too. Incredible special 9 nights we will never forget. ❤️

We are big fans of Ikos Resorts having previously stayed at Ikos Aria. After a particularly tough year, we were really looking forward to our stay at the flagship Ikos Dassia. I travelled with my family (2 adults and 2 young kids) and stayed in a Panaromic Junior suite in July 2023. Whilst the first three days of our stay were exactly as expected, day four took a turn for the worse. At lunchtime that day we dined for lunch at Ouzo. I ate the seafood (prawns) and meats from the BBQ. (My wife and children are vegetarian and therefore did not eat the same food as me). That evening, I became extremely ill with projectile vomiting and diarrhoea. I was in considerable pain and discomfort and went straight to the room where I was violently sick on more than 15 occasions. My wife was very distressed and called the hotel doctor to come urgently (despite the Euro200 call out charge). The doctor arrived and stayed in the room whilst I was sick on multiple occasions. When my wife asked the doctor what it could be, the doctor was extremely hesitant but said it could be food poisoning or gastro (it was a few hours after the BBQ lunch). It was very clear that she was very hesitant to blame Ikos for causing food poisoning. I spoke to the front office manager at reception the following day, but (like the doctor) the impression that I got was that she just wanted to brush what had happened under the carpet and pretend that it had nothing to do with the hotel. I was asked to go with her to the medical centre to see the main doctor, which I duly did so and although I was still unwell after the previous night, I was interrogated and made to feel extremely uncomfortable like this was somehow my fault. It was only when I spoke up and said that they were making me feel uncomfortable and that I had paid a lot of money to come on this holiday, that they stopped. No compassion was shown and it seemed to me that they were only trying to protect the hotel’s reputation. This was shocking behaviour for a hotel with Ikos' reputation and stature. Other guests at the hotel were also ill. A couple that we met with their young son told us that he had vomited multiple times in the reception area of the hotel and another family that we met around the resort told us that their child and nanny also had food poisoning. For the rest of our stay at Ikos Dassia, I was unable to eat or drink much at all and stuck to a plain diet of chicken broth, dry toast, boiled potatoes and water etc. This meant that we lost enjoyment of half of our holiday. My wife also had to sleep on the sofa bed with the children for the remainder of our stay to avoid exposing her to my sickness. This is not what we expected from a 5* holiday at Ikos Dassia. On our last day at Ikos Dassia (23rd July), we still had not received the medical report that we had previously requested multiple times. I had to insist on a copy of my medical report, from both the doctor and the front desk. They were making excuses about why it wasn’t ready and proceeded to tell us that as they had (kindly) waived the charges for the doctor, we weren’t entitled to the medical report. We found this to be particularly offensive behaviour from a luxury hotel such as Ikos Dassia. After insisting again and again, we finally received it from the senior manager as our luggage was being loaded into our airport transfer but to say that the management were not keen to hand it over is an understatement. I did not in my wildest expectations expect that the food at a luxury 5* Ikos resort which prides its self on its premium all-inclusive offering would cause me such dreadful food poisoning. But even though it can happen and I was disappointed, I am more shocked by how the situation was handled by senior management at the hotel. I really would not have expected this treatment by a World Class 5 star resort such as Ikos Dassia.

We had previously stayed at the Ikos Aria so we had booked up again with Ikos as soon as we came back from holiday as we had such a great experience (5 star+). The Ikos Dassia was a little bit different, a much bigger resort effectively across two sites/buildings. We booked 2 sea view suites to accommodate the family and the rooms were luxurious with good facilities - very much in the decor of the luxury Ikos experience. No baths though just showers in the bathroom. The swimming pools were excellent and the service was good although some of the sunbeds were looking a bit tatty. Our biggest problem was with the restaurants - if you are with your family you want to make sure you can sit down at the restaurant of your choice at the time of your choice. When we booked the Ikos Aria we were able to book a different restaurant at 7.30pm every night, in advance. At the Dassia we were told we could only book a maximum of 3 restaurants in advance unless we were staying in a Deluxe suite. I tried to change the reservation to Deluxe but the hotel was fully booked. When we arrived on site I tried to book for the additional nights but most of the restaurants were full at 7.30pm (although the buffet was available - however you dont pay Ikos luxury all inclusive prices to go to the buffet). We had to eat at 9pm several nights and the hassle I had with the Whatsapp and restaurant bookings going missing and staff telling you the wrong thing, the wrong night, wrong restaurant - I spent hours on whatsapp trying to sort our dinner reservations, then went to reception but they dont have access to the restaurant booking system and eventually I had to make a formal complaint as it was ruining my holiday. Basically they are short staffed as there are plenty of seats in the restaurants and I think they are trying to encourage as many guests as possible to use the buffet as it is easier for them. I was so disappointed; we had recommended Ikos to so many friends and family as being the ultimate luxury holiday but it just wasnt up to scratch. We wouldnt recommend or stay again although we already have a booking for Ikos Porto Petro - keeping my fingers crossed they have enough staff and restaurant availability.

Remember this phrase as you read on. A World of Unconditional Luxury Apologies for the length of this review but wanted to provide as much detail as possible. We have been visitors to Ikos on a few occasions since 2019. Our first experience was immense and surpassed our expectations. We thought we had found a jewel of a holiday experience and looked forward to many future visits. We had not a great experience when we returned in 2022 and following regular communications with Ikos we agreed to pay another visit to Ikos resorts in 2023. We chose Dassia as it appeared to be the kind of family friendly place our 2 year old granddaughter would really enjoy. LOCATION AND ROOM The resort location itself I cannot fault. The complex is right on the beach front and our room was at a guess around 20 metres from the beach with an amazing view over the water. A good start and we were looking forward to what else the resort had to offer "Our littlest guests are immersed in a world of unrivalled adventure and infinite choice, where every day is one they’ll remember for the rest of their lives. From mini discos to organised sports, and outdoor discovery to arts and crafts, we give them the freedom they need to truly flourish." The excerpt above is from the Ikos website and really makes you feel Ikos gets it when it comes to travelling with children One of our concerns last time related to the consideration of little ones (specifically 3 and under) as we were travelling with our daughter and granddaughter who is now only 2. I still struggle with the logic of room allocation based on families with very young children as although the room view was fabulous and only 20m from the beach we were also only around 30m for the Theatre. Great I hear you say. However travelling with a toddler requires some of their routine to remain as we all know the consequences of an overtired, cranky child on you and other guests. Being so close to the theatre meant that whether we liked it or not we effectively got front row seats to all the entertainment. We could hear everything and could, if we chose to sing along to all the words of all the songs. Unfortunately we didn't actually go to any of the later shows but still got the full effect from our beds hoping that our little one would not wake up. For any parent, the jeopardy of those moments and what they could bring make you go into a cold sweat. "With panoramic views over the gleaming waters, these suites offer privacy and tranquillity. Accommodating two adults and three children, the light and bright creams and blues are framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that open out to an extensive balcony." We stayed in a One Bedroom Suite which overall was great. I love a nice soak in the bath so was looking forward to being able to relax. That was until I looked in the bath and found, well I'm not too sure. It looks like damage to the bath which has subsequently got dirty over time (see photo). I couldn't clean it off and not knowing what it was the bath was off limits for our stay. We had a slight glitch with the air conditioning on our first night whereby we could not get the controls unlocked. This meant we had the theatre and the air con battling to see who could win in a loudness contest for our first sleep (or lack of it). It was sorted in the morning by my daughter but unsure why the thing would have been locked in the first place. Not what I would expect of a 5 star resort given what people pay to stay there. POOL/ BEACH AND KIDS AREAS We were at Dassia for 7 days and spent all but the first day around the kids pool and splash park outside the Sea building. Unfortunately the unrivalled luxury was sadly missing. The kids splash park was fun but could really do with a thorough clean as it was more than a little grubby in areas. Some of the parasols were broken, canopies ripped and were a real struggle to even get up in some instances The nearest men's toilet had the wall mounted flushing mechanism hanging off and coming away from the wall. The park was good and in terms of safety for the kids from the sun had sail canopies covering most of the area. However, even in October the temperature was 25 centigrade plus and the place in the park that seemed to get that heat was the metal slide which was not covered enough by the sails. This made the slide hot for the kids using it. I dread to think how hot it got in Summer when the temps would have been mid to high 30's The service around the kids pool area was unfortunately intermittent at best. Never once did we receive towels apart from when we went to the beach and we had to collect them ourselves everyday from the main pool area. Not a massive issue if, when we got to the towel hut at the pool the person wasn't on the beach chatting with his colleagues or looking at his phone almost constantly. The towels themselves were in poor condition and many of them were stained despite the fact they would have been washed. Not five star luxury or even close. The drinks and food service was again not logical. If you were round the kids pool then they seemed to have one person to run the gelaterie and cater for the many families gathered around the pool. On some days it could be hours between visits. This is not the individuals fault on duty as it was nigh impossible to manage both and deliver great service. Why wasn't more than one person allocated every single day to support from the main area. It only got rectified somewhat when we discussed with our concierge. Shouldn't even be an issue really as if organised effectively there were enough people to support. FOOD Food was good and there was infinite variety to choose from in the various restaurants. All of our meals were well made when we visited anywhere on the site. My only gripe here food wise is that we ordered room service one afternoon as I was looking after my granddaughter while she was taking a nap so missed Lunch. They kindly provided our little one with some waffles which were not on the room service menu which was great. However, the food I ordered came to the room stone cold which would have been fine if it was a salad but it was a burger and fries. When attending Flavours everything seemed a little rushed. I lost count of the number of times we arrived at our table and it wasn't set. Again this in my eyes was no fault of the staff as they were working as hard as possible to support everyone. PEOPLE The redeeming feature of the resort were the team of people we met during our stay. Friendly and trying to make sure our stay was good. Despite the challenges in Flavours, Vasilis, Bart, Eleni, Afrodite and Sheila were always there with a smile and my granddaughter loved to interact with them which they reciprocated readily. Our concierge Anastasia dealt with my wife and daughter as I don't do the What's App techy things but they were very happy when needing her assistance with the results. IN SUMMARY Room - Pretty good but bath needs a full repair or replacement Room Location - Fab for the view and fab if you like listening to music in bed or intend to be out later than 22:30. Poor if you have young kids who need to be in bed by 21:00 Kids Pool and Splash Park - Poor and in need of a good refurb and maintenance but I assume this will not be exclusive to just the kids pool and area. Towels for all areas need replacing. Service - Intermittent Food - Good overall. Restaurants - We only visited 3 - All were good but Flavours needs to be reviewed so it doesn't feel like your on a conveyor belt turning volumes of people round. People - keep hold of the ones we mentioned as they save you I'm sure from worse customer reviews Although these are predominately my views some of the comments around service and the general wear and tear of the resort were reflected in conversations with other guests we met whilst on holiday Overall Referring back to the original statement "A World of Unconditional Luxury". Absolutely not. Ikos has grown and become more popular over the years which is no doubt fabulous for the company and the profits. Like many companies however the reputation was built on a usp directly related to the service, experiences and luxury you will get. This seems to have has been lost or forgotten the more popular they have become. They have lost their essence of what made us want to come back again after our very first visit which a real shame. We have visited Ikos locations twice in the last 12 months and had what I would deem a poor experience both times in different places. Given the significant costs associated with going to Ikos (for example around £12k for a 10 day visit for 3 adults and 1 child (3) in Oct 24 you have to ask yourself is that value for money. In my eyes it isn't unless there are significant improvements in the infrastructure, the service and safety so therefore I cannot recommend Ikos as a holiday destination and it is highly unlikely we will be making return trips.

Due to several issues we sadly cannot give 5*. We stayed in 3 bedroom villa. We really liked Corfu island and enjoyed close location to the main city and trip by ikos tesla around the island. The resort itself is very beautiful, has nice gardens. Beach and sea is ok, sea is nicely warm. Compared to other ikos resorts, we really enjoyed food here. Very delicious food in menu restaurants and also nice dining in our villa. Delicious desserts. On the contrary buffet (Flavours) was the worst from all ikos resorts we have been to… not good food and neither good selection of food. We also miss sweet fresh station in breakfast buffet, ex fresh crepes, waffles… or anything. What I suggest to improve is still water served in all restaurants… I do not know whether or not it is tap water but generally it is not good. Regarding minibar - I think filling minibar with orange juice that has 45% of oranges is really sad in 5* hotel. I would like to mention George who really took nice care of us during our stay. I also would like to give special recognition to staff in Kerkyra - Chrisa and George mainly… and chef Andreas in Ouzo and everyone working in bar at sky reception. We were very dissapointed by villa itself - villa is not worth the price, due to price-performance ratio I cannot recommend it - bedrooms are very small, small wardrobes, small bathrooms - no nice beach in front of villa - villa is in very loud part of resort, till 22:30 theatre from resort which is very very very loud and after local disco till 4:30 in the morning - villa is aside the resort and people going to beach several times walked through our garden which does not feel well Also vip transfer back to airport was not vip at all, they dropped us to wrong terminal And the driver told us she was not informed from hotel where to take us. Ikos is perfect choice if you are looking for a hotel with combination of all inclusive and menu restaurants and vila type accomodation in Europe, but it is sad that standards cannot be compared to hotels for example in Maldives. Thank you Eva

The hotel is very well kept, spotless in fact. The rooms fairly basic but clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful the resort is beautiful but the surrounding area fairly run down with nothing to do outside unless you take one of the cars or get one of the mini buses to take you somewhere. We did the eat out option at the fish restaurant and the food was lovely but felt you were left there a little too long as there is nothing else to do once there. One thing I would say is the hotel felt a little soulless there was to much atmosphere and during our stay the entertainment was lacking.
