Exceptional price for what you get and the staff couldn't help you enough. They always went the extra mile. Rooms are comfortable and clean. My partner called this place the highlight accommodation of our trip, we enjoyed it more than the Frankfurt Hilton. I don't write trip advisor reviews, but this family run business deserves it.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights initially and asked for a 3rd which was no problem for the staff. Everything about this hotel contributed to an amazing stay. The staff, location, food and rooms were all high quality. Only 15 minutes to hallstatt by car and about 40 minutes to salzburg. Cant recommend this hotel enough.

Just stayed for one week with my wife and son for a skiing holiday, and everything was just great, we arrived at Salzburg airport to be greeted by a taxi man who the hotel had arranged and at a very reasonable cost to us. He brought straight to the hotel in around 50 minutes and the lady on reception gave...

Nice hotel, rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly. What impressed us most where the little niceties. There was a thank you card on our room with some sweets, the breakfast table had our name and they give you water for your drive when you check out. Some breakfast itens are not replaced, so get...

The hotel is located in a small valley town of Russbach. It is 25-30 minutes drive from Hallstatt . Waldwirts breakfast is really not good. I hope they put some effort to serve a better breakfast for the guests. The rooms are neat and clean. The Hotel reception area smells cigarette smoke ordor which is not very pleasant.

Very nice hotel - it is both traditional and modern, reconstructed, clean. Very frindly, comunicative and helpfull staff, good prices, wifi in whole house. We have really enjoyed our stay here. If we come again to Dachstein, this family-owned hotel is definitely our choice again.

We spent 3 nights at this place, which is far most the best we have ever stayed in Austria. The room was very clean and very tastefully decorated, also had the feeling that it was recently refurbished. Both the breakfast and the evening meals were very delecious and the guy who served them was very friendly. This place is bit...

We ate here one evening with our 4 babies and they made every effort they could to make our meal an enjoyable one. As believe us that dinning out with 4 x 16 month old babies is never easy!! Good meal and comfortable dinning room made for a top meal. Many thanks and much appreciated.

My partner and I booked into this place, not really knowing where it was. We got lost in Bad Ischl trying to find it, but one phone call to the English speaking host helped with easy instructions. It is a bit away from the beaten track, and best suited to winter skiing holidays. But, it's also just 15 minutes scenic...

Booked one night on spur of moment as driving through Austria. Arrived to warm welcome. Booked double ensuite- room was immaculate and ensuite has actually given me ideas for own place. Language was a slight issue as my Austrian is non existent and their English covers the basics, but lots of hand movements and smiles and we got there. Really...
