We had a lovely stay, place is nice and spacious and clean. They offer you free firewood / braai wood which you don't always get :) The only negative or recommendations I could make are: We felt the kitchen could have been better stocked for example no Tupperware to store left over food, no braai utensils ("braai-bak" and braai tang)...

A home away from you own home and with everything you need included in the price. Safe and Secure with enough space. Perfect for families and/or friends for a weekend away. Perfect venue for that winter snow on the mountains.

We stayed at Dreamcatcher while attendinga wedding in the Tulbagh area. it turned out to be an excellent choise, especially since we were two couples plus some other members of the family. There were two bedrooms with double beds and a third bedroom with two beds. The two main bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms and the other bedroom is directly alonside...

This house, terrace, pool and braai place are high end, very nicely decorated, and equipped with everything you would want and need for a stay. We very much enjoyed the fire place at night in house. It is very spacious and cosy at the same time. The only little thing to improve would be a heating in winter. In the...

We absolutely loved staying at Dreamcatcher & couldn't have asked for anything more on our stay. Gorgeous, clean home with absolutely everything you can think of & so close to everything. Just fabulous! We'll definitely be staying at Dreamcatcher again! In fact, it will definitely be sooner than later.

This little weekend away was not actually meant to be a couple's weekend (a communication gap with the family and mix-up with dates led to a bit more romantic stay!), but it turned out to be the just what we needed. After comparing several hotels and guest houses for the best bargain, we decided on Dreamcatcher. We booked through an...

We had such a wonderful weekend in Tulbagh and dreamcatcher was suprisingly homely. As the tempurature reached almost 50 degrees while we were there. The pool and the aircon was a wonderful escape from the heat. We will definately be back.

Wonderful house. Only problem we had was that it advertised 3 bedroomed/3bathroomed and when we got there we had to choose which bedroom we wanted and the other 2 were locked. We have travelled a great deal and when places are advertised with 2 or more bedrooms they are never locked. We found this rather strange. The house was very clean...

We stayed for one night (08 September 2013) at Dreamcatcher in Tulbagh. The house is situated in a nice and quiet environment. The inside is very spacious. Very smartly decorated and clean inside and outside. Excellent choice of a fire-place inside the house - it reflects a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely make use of Dreamcatcher accommodation in Tulbagh again....

We spent a family weekend at Dreamcatcher in August 2013. We were six adults and our 23 month old grandson. We experienced a cold wet weekend and stayed indoors. The indoor fireplace made our weekend very cosy and comfortable. There was an abundance of firewood for the indoor fire and for an outdoor braai. A plus for the weekend was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
If you are looking for very private Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering accommodation in the Cape, about an hour and a half drive out of Cape Town, The Dreamcatcher is a wonderful retreat. You will enjoy an extremely tranquil stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the City. Dreamcatcher is situated 0.5 km from the historic town of Tulbagh (Church street) and only a 50 m walk to leading restaurants. Enjoy the peaceful country atmosphere!Accommodation Dreamcatcher has 3 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite) and is available for a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 6 persons. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished and are all air-conditioned. The bathrooms are spacious, modern with all the best fittings. The finer touches such as the complimentary toiletries and beautifully presented towels, sea shell arrangements and candles do a lot to make you feel very pampered and welcome in this house. The kitchen, lounge and dining room area is open plan - with a high, arched ceiling the area is large, light and airy, beautifully furnished but still very comfortable. For cooler evenings there is a large fireplace to keep you warm whilst you watch Television (with M-Net) or enjoy some of the fine Cape wines you've purchased from any one of the nearby Wine Estates during the day.The dining / lounge area has two sets of large double doors that lead out onto an enclosed patio with swimming pool, outdoor seating area and a braai area (barbecue). The kitchen is well equipped with oven and hob, microwave, large refrigerator and everything you would need to cater for a sit down dinner for 8 guests. The dining room table seats 8 very comfortably if you decide to dine indoors rather than enjoy the outdoor barbecue area. Dreamcatcher sleeps up to 6 people, but whether you rent one, two or three bedrooms, the whole house is at all times exclusively yours! ... more   less
